I just wanna love people and play outside.

Today marks one year since I led my first walk with @yapoutyonder

A passion for whimsy, a desire for connection, and an urge to remember life doesn’t always have to feel serious or fast or heavy. At least not on Sunday mornings.

Since I lost my mom, I’ve seen about one thousand versions of myself form and shed and change and die and evolve. But this version of me that blooms in the sun and spots colors and patterns in the earth and smiles like she’s five years old, I like her.

I started Yap Out Yonder as a reminder community and joy do not have to be hard to find, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. All it takes is showing up, unclenching your jaw, yapping with strangers turned friends, and seeing what you find.

Happy birthday @yapoutyonder! I loveeee you by @abbsrthomas

Blue skies and rainbows and flowers and birds and roots and dirt and ripples and sunrises and creeks and deer and-

How lucky are we. To be on this planet by accident but not by mistake. We share the same sky, the same sun, the same moon and all the colors. Play outside, pay attention to your breath, skip rocks, make out under a tree, pick berries, talk to animals, count stars, make shapes in the clouds. You are here 🌏

Flying into my 30s 🪁✨

In all honesty, I am beyond blessed to turn 30 in the October sun doing inner child sh*t with all my favorite people. I am reminded constantly how much love I have around me and how much is still yet to give. I am feeling so blessed to have been given this exact life at this exact time with these exact people on this incredibly perfect planet. I know somewhere up in the sky my mama is smiling down at me knowing it’s all coming together as intended even though I’m truly winging it. My sappy libra heart is BURSTING ✨ 30 laps around the sun ☀️ #itsmybirthday #dirtythirties by @abbsrthomas
