During this tour, @authentic_traveling casually mentioned that the group met a Former President at his library and expressed hope that Abuja would exceed their expectations. Not long after, we encountered @honhannatumusawa at City Gate.

Hon. Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, was very gracious. She had a pleasant chat with the group.

Thank you for the opportunity, @authentic_traveling_tours, to guide your group in Abuja. We appreciate you, and great job, @dara_for_enjoyment_only 👌

Welp, yes, I did call at 1am. 😂

Don’t judge me. That’s usually when my brain decides it needs answers. And Toyosi is always awake too, so… 🙂‍↔️

Our camping event was a success both times because we genuinely had one goal and worked towards it.

I’ve experienced idea theft multiple times in this industry, and honestly, it’s frustrating. So when I had an idea I wanted to introduce to our community, I wasn’t trying to take over what Toyosi does. I knew it was his area of expertise, so I chose to meet with him and figure out how we could execute it properly.

That, to me, is what collaboration looks like.

You don’t always have to compete. Sometimes, you bring your idea, I bring mine, we combine our strengths and everybody wins.

So, what part of this stood out to you?
