A Day of Creative Collisions! #ADAM2026 Day 2 Wraps Up! โ€‹ We kicked off today with โ€Slow Datingโ€œ with curators, followed by the second and third Residency Sharing sessions of the Artist Lab. It was incredible to see how our 7 international artists transformed their experiences from the two-city residency into unique perspectives! The afternoonโ€˜s Kitchen: โ€œMassaging into Marriageโ€ showcased powerful experimental energy. Todayโ€™s encounters remind us that exchange is not simply about trading answers. This afternoon, the curatorial team shared the concept of โ€œLaundry Days,โ€ followed by an inspiring first Residency Sharing session from our artists. From Manila to Taipei, we saw how the daily act of washing transforms into profound cross-cultural dialogue. โ€‹ โ€‹ The early evening featured Kitchen: โ€œDestiny (the small view)โ€, offering a glimpse into future creations. However, as someone working in the art field here, I often perceive that the circulation of curatorial expertise and discussions is significantly more vibrant in the visual arts sector than in the performing arts. Although the modes of curatorial thinking in each sector are not fundamentally different, their corresponding material conditions, economic structures, labour demands and institutional characters are highly distinct. We were thrilled to finally meet all our curators, directors, and artists from around the world! On Day 2 of the ADAM, artists from the Artist Lab shared the outcomes of their residencies in Bangkok and Taipei.
