Little photo dump from end of July to early August
Started with competing at the masters @crossfitgames in Cali (4th place), then off to northern MN for a family get away, then straight to Montana to see the beautiful mountains, watch friends get married, ride a horse and get college drunk

Should I stay or should I go- the question I asked a lot the last few months.
While my goal was just to make it back to the masters @crossfitgames - I knew this year I’d be going to “have fun”
Another baby, built a new house, moved, sold a business and started a new job all within the last year. It’s been crazy.
But that would be super lame to turn down an invite because I “don’t feel ready”- so here we go- year 11 at the games coming up in a few days!
(Couldn’t find old games photos so here are some from @gamedaycomp earlier this summer 🫣)

Great weekend being the oldest I’ve ever been and jumping into 37 🫣🥴
Seemed to only get photos with children- but friends and family were involved in the celebrations too- three more years until I’m old old….. taken in Minnesota a Land of 10,000 Lakes by @aenisler

I went into @calmeramassageongrand thinking I’d just have a nice little afternoon… and somehow left feeling like I’d been totally factory reset. 😂✨

Spent the afternoon getting their 60-minute Muscle Melt Massage followed by a Japanese hair treatment + facial, and honestly, My stress packed its bags and moved out.

My muscles are no longer filing complaints, my scalp feels luxurious, and my face is serving “I drink enough water and have my life together” energy (for at least the next 48 hours). 😌💆‍♀️

If you’re overdue for some self-care, do yourself a favor and check them out. And while you’re at it, give them a follow because everyone deserves to know where the magic happens. ✨🤍

Masters Semifinals …
I didn’t quite read the rules right (I read the rule book section several times - it could also be organized and worded better…).
Sunday evening I realized my workouts were invalid after having done 4 of the 5 workouts with one judge who didn’t meet the qualifications.
Monday morning at 9:15 i texted @marcoeck and @sarahjoy3x3 to let them know I’m an idiot because I did all the workouts at their @northboundtraining space and it was basically for nothing -
9:33 Marcus texts back “we’re around if you want to pop in and get them done by the 12 class”
Accepting my fate I declined. Then Marcus hit me with the “well good thing you’re fit and we’re available”
A challenge I couldn’t decline.
Long story short - I need to go back to school to read and Marcus and Sarah are great people 😀
Also very happy I was challenged to go back and give the workouts another go on a tight time clock 😵‍💫- that was fun taken in North Bound Training by @aenisler
