And just like that, A Seat at the Table has come to a close.

Four days of extraordinary craftsmanship, meaningful conversations, new connections and a wonderful reminder of what this industry can achieve when we come together.

To every maker, collaborator and visitor who took their seat at the table, thank you for being part of it.

The installation may have come to an end, but the conversations and connections it inspired are only beginning.

There will always be a seat at the table.

Had a wonderful time at @decorex_international, seeing A Seat At The Table by @aevencollective come to life. 🪑✨

It was wonderful to see the talent on display, with makers from across the UK bringing so many different materials, ideas and ways of making together in one space. I’m proud to have my work, Shah Mat, be part of it.

A big thank you to @aevencollective , @alexandriadauley and @grantpierrus for organising it and making it happen, and to @decorex_international and @williamsandyates for the experience. Thank you also to everyone I met along the way for the great conversations and new friendships.

A Seat at the Table has come to life, bringing together an extraordinary community of makers, designers and collaborators through a shared celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and connection.

On Monday morning, we had the pleasure of hosting the AEVEN Makers' Breakfast, bringing together the people behind the pieces for a morning of conversations, introductions and new connections.

After months of planning and collaboration, there was something particularly special about hearing the stories behind the work and seeing relationships form around the very pieces that brought us together.

At its heart, A Seat at the Table is about creating space for these exchanges. A place where independent makers can share their stories, have their voices heard and take their rightful seat within the wider design community.

The chairs and pieces brought us together. The conversations are what will carry us forward.

Had a wonderful time at @decorex_international today with an amazing show put on by @aevencollective.
It's been a real goal of mine to get to Decorex and it's so great to see everyone using all these lovely chairs. Great to meet up with everyone old and new as well. Great trip around the V and A afterwards also.
Plenty to think about for next year including buying an iron 😊

Bringing together different disciplines, sharing expertise and creating opportunities for people and businesses to achieve something extraordinary together is a core value at AEVEN.

To every collaborator who has contributed their time, skill, resources and support, thank you for being part of this journey.

Every chair tells a story and so does every journey it takes to reach the vision. We were honoured to work alongside @aevencollective to help bring A Seat at the Table to life at @decorex_international , orchestrating each individually chosen piece so @alexandriadauley and @grantpierrus vision of one shared table could unfold seamlessly.
