Coming from game design, what’s always driven my tech nerdiness and constant hard work is the power we have to build products that help people level up everyday. To feel more capable, more themselves, supported along the journey, and celebrated when they win. Since leaving Microsoft, I’ve been experimenting and figuring out how AI is reshaping the way we build, separating the noise from the real leverage, and what it means for design and our world. We all know the potential is massive but the magic is knowing how to apply it. The power, stakes, and slop have all simultaneously been raised. We’re moving faster than ever, but speed without direction just gets you lost sooner. Good design drives the alignment. Momentum becomes unstoppable. The business and their users level up and win naturally together. Everyone celebrates more. Discovered our favorite beach ever on a tiny island called Othonoi in the Ionian Sea north of Corfu, between Albania & Puglia. This birthday feels like a milestone. A major shift and I’m feeling blessed for this transformation. I got engaged to my love, gave speeches at my closest friends weddings around the world, solo-traveled for months, connected to my deeper purpose and special sauce, set true roots building a first beautiful home close to friends and family knowing that will only grow my branches, healed immensely, started protecting my peace, and learned what joy comes with true intention and progress. An alignment of a lifetime. Now I’m wrapping up my last month at Microsoft after 8 years ready to explore my own new ventures. But the real lasting win? Falling in love with and saying yes to life in all of its true abundant unfolding - the good, the challenging, and the magic in between. This year will be an epic one. pov: you stumble upon the sound bowl of your dreams on a random cliff in mexico & attempt to make contact with the extraterrestrials some places have a special kind of magic that inexplicably draws you in, some by having so much soul that it spills over onto all who visit, some have had so much soul injected into it by the community that resides there, & some places have both... & this is certainly one of those places that has both. 📍La Copa Del Sol The founder of Costa Careyes dreamt of a man and a woman united by the cosmos while bathed in the light of the setting sun & this vision was brought to life by this structure, which represents the woman, to catch and cup the sun. taken in Mexico by @ali.benter
