When I started poking myself with a sewing needle and cheap ink in high school, I didn’t think I’d make it far at all, but that’s how I got started. I used myself to practice, and that resulted in a whole sketchbook-style sleeve… and I still love every piece, even the really shit ones.
Tattoos mean different things to everybody and it’s so fascinating to see. The amount of trust people have in me to let me change their bodies… that sometimes leaves me too stunned for words.

I’m just rambling at this point instead of properly introducing myself, but I’m grateful for being able to do this for you. As an artist, there’s not much you can do apart from working twice as hard, because your actions are your biggest, most reliable, and consistent opportunities. No one will pave the path for you in this industry and no one can really show you how it's done, those are your only real chances. And second to that is faith in those actions. Hard work is always overlooked in the ones that make it, because you’re an artist thanks to being “talented” — but talent alone gets you nowhere once you’re out of art school.
