Introducing the : FORMULA TO MOVEMENT TOUR

We’re stepping beyond our home base and bringing the movement to new cities, new rooms, and new communities.

Rooted in confidence, individuality, musicality, and transformation, this is more than choreography. It’s an experience designed to challenge how you move, connect you to your own expression, and remind you what’s possible when you allow yourself to evolve.

Three cities. A new chapter. The same energy.

The dates are here. Your city is waiting.

Scan the QR code to discover your stop and secure your spot.

Limited spaces available. Registration is officially open.

Evolve. Transform. Move differently.

After Hurricane Katrina, I came to Sacramento to care for my mom, who was disabled after surviving a gunshot to the head. She moved here alone, and I followed with three changes of clothes, a wing, and a prayer. In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) and SEIU helped us survive one of the hardest chapters of our lives.

My mom got to see me open my very first studio. Her funeral was the first event held in that space. Shortly before she passed, she told me she’d dreamed of people laughing and dancing there. I believe her dream came true—and so did mine.

Being in a room full of caregivers at SEIU 2015 brought so much of her back to me. I wish she could see me today. I think she’d be proud.

Caregivers give so much of themselves, often without recognition. I know what that care—and the community resources that support it—can mean to a family like mine.

Through AMPED, we bring performances and interactive dance lessons to workplaces, celebrations, and corporate and community events. My favorite part is watching people feel inspired, laugh, and connect—even if they’ve never danced before.

Thank you for letting me share my story—and some spicy steps. Bringing joy through dance is my way of giving back to people who give so much. I’ll never forget the road that brought me here, or the people who helped me along the way. 🤍 taken in Sacramento by @ampedstudios

Still smiling from this one. 🖤 you should be dancin yea!

@krystelpozo brought such incredible energy to the studio, and having WAACKING in our space was truly a gift. Thank you to everyone who came out, danced, learned, expressed themselves, and filled the room with so much love.

This is what dance does — it brings people together. Different styles, different levels, different stories, all sharing the same floor.

We’re so grateful for this community and for every dancer who walks through our doors! You belong here. ✨

Artists supporting artists. 🤎

I’ve known the incredibly talented @jadelllee for decades, and getting to watch him grow into such a powerful leader and pillar of our dance community has been an honor to witness!

Today, @sadebrowne_ of @gooddaysac came to AMPED to celebrate the release of his new book, First Position, featuring the beautiful artistry of @ugo.frediani of Sacramento Ballet.

And yes — I’ve already started reading it. Jadell wrote this book for people navigating leadership, and I’m already taking notes. Creatives are leaders too, and I truly believe this is a book every artist, teacher, director and creative entrepreneur can learn from.

This is what community looks like to me: showing up for each other, sharing the room, celebrating the work and making space for one another to grow.

AMPED will always be a home for creativity. Dancers, writers, choreographers, musicians, photographers, filmmakers — whatever your art is, we want to see it, celebrate it and support it.

Bridging our creative community, one artist at a time. 🖤✨

So proud of you, Jadell.

⚡️ SAC, THIS ONE’s FOR YOU!⚡️

You don’t get a WAACKING class with a guest choreographer from Ecuador 🇪🇨 every day. 👀 @krystelpozo is coming to AMPED for ONE NIGHT ONLY so if you’ve been curious about Waacking, this is your chance to join the Haus.

Big energy. Musicality. Attitude. 🔥
Come try something DIFFERENT.

I see you taking care of everybody else. Pouring into your students, your team, your family, and your people.

Just checking in to make sure you’re taking care of you, too. 🤍

You give so much energy, encouragement, patience, love, and probably way more of yourself than people even realize. So consider this your reminder to fill your own cup, too.

We see you. We appreciate you. We love you! 🫶🏽 and thank you for all you do! taken in AMPED Studios by @ampedstudios
