Peeing my pants in public has been a reoccurring theme in my stories—it’s something I’ve dealt with since I was in high school. I’m 41 now. I had convinced myself this was just my reality, but visiting @harmoniwellnessmn for hormone care opened my eyes to a solution! They utilize cutting-edge technology to strengthen the pelvic floor and increase bladder control. Today was the first of 6 weekly appointments, and honestly, I cried. This feels like it’s going to be life-changing.

Somewhere along the way women have been led to believe everything we wear must be flattering and by flattering we mean it must make us look thin. This is a mindset shift that universally needs to happen. Ladies! You do not need to make yourself appear smaller for anyone else’s viewing pleasure. At the start of summer, work slowed down, it rained nonstop, and I got stuck in a rut—living in my pajamas for days. I felt blah, unmotivated, and disconnected.

I had the honor of attending the preview party for Paris Couture at @artsmia and I’m still swooning over the garments 🖤 The craftsmanship, the silhouettes, the details you can only appreciate up close. Ever since Carter started dancing competitively, I’ve planned my comp fits around his costumes — sometimes a subtle nod, sometimes full-on matching energy. It’s become our thing. He can’t wait to see what I show up in, and he’ll even occasionally collab with me as we dig through my closet together.

I never imagined I’d be a dance mom, but here we are 9 years later and I’m all in! @starpowertalent Nationals in Branson wrapped up another season at @millennium_dance_company , so here’s the whole week: his costume, then my fit inspired by it.
