“Nobody can describe that state of bliss by language, but you can feel it, because you are That.” — Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati A beautiful afternoon of learning and connection at @anandaashram @anandaashramyoga with @pedrofranco_premananda for Yoga Anatomy & Biomechanics: From the Parts to the Whole. Exploring the body, the subtle dimensions of practice, and the deeper understanding that unfolds as we experience yoga in its fullest expression. So much to take in and carry with us. Thank you, Pedro, for sharing your wisdom, warmth, and love of yoga. Grateful to share this afternoon with @lindsayppaige, @gracemcclearyy, and @jjackiefur, and @avatomford joining us in spirit. by @andreatyoga
An invitation to discover the heart of the practice. So much of what we experience as yoga begins with the physical practice. This afternoon is an opportunity to open the door a little wider and spend time with the philosophy and teachings of yoga, with space to ask questions, share conversation, reflect, and explore how these ancient teachings can inform the way we practice and live. We’ll spend time with the Eight Limbs of Yoga and some of the timeless teachings at the heart of the practice, with room for self inquiry, conversation and connection. For anyone who has been curious to go a little deeper, this is an opportunity to spend more time with the teachings of yoga without the commitment of a formal training. No previous study of yoga philosophy is needed. Come as you are. Bring your curiosity. Saturday, October 17 · 1–5 PM Grassroots Yoga & Wellness with Andrea Tymczyszyn, RDYT-500 $75 · Vegan meal included Sponsored spaces available DM @grassrootsyoga159 or visit the link in bio to reserve a space. #yogaphilosophy #livingyoga #eightlimbsofyoga #dharmayoga #catskillsyoga by @andreatyoga
Still taking in yesterday’s master class with @sharongannon at @jivamuktiyoga.nyc . What a gift to practice with her. Simply being in Sharon’s presence felt divine. Her joy, wisdom, humor and deep devotion to Yoga filled the room. So did the lineage. Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, Guruji, was one of Sharon’s teachers, and receiving from someone who received from him moved me deeply. Then noticing Sri Dharma Mittra’s Yoga Course and Sun Salutation chart hanging on the studio wall made it all feel even more personal. Threads of a living lineage, present in ways both large and small. These teachings continue to live as they are received, carried and shared. There was so much feeling in the room. Chanting together, moving and breathing together, the practice unfolding toward Hanumanasana, a posture rooted so deeply in devotion. And then there was the playlist. “Purple Rain” came on and before long the whole room was singing together. Pure joy. Then Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” and there I was trying to hold back my tears. Apparently I’m tearing up again just writing this. 😂 It was all one experience. Devotion moving through the practice, the music, the teachings and every person in that room. Joy, community, movement, lineage and love woven through it all. A deeply moving, deeply joyful, and yes, for me, divine experience. So much gratitude, and congratulations to everyone at Jivamukti Yoga NYC on this beautiful new space. Yesterday was one of those days that stays with you. by @andreatyoga

The deepest resonance isn’t something we simply hear. It’s something we experience✨ A Practice of Presence through Yoga & Live Acoustic Music with @andreatymczyszyn & @angelahassan Guided by mindful movement, breath, and live acoustic music, this collaborative practice invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with yourself. Rather than serving as background, the music becomes part of the practice itself, supporting presence, connection, and spacious awareness. Weather permitting, we’ll gather on Ananda Ashram’s beautiful lakeside deck, where the sounds of nature become part of the experience. In case of inclement weather, we will meet in the Panini Annex yoga studio as an alternate location. ✨ Sunday, July 19 🕑 2:00–3:30 PM 📍 Ananda Ashram Yoga Society 13 Sapphire Road, Monroe, NY 🧘 All levels are welcome. 🔗 Register through the link in bio or visit www.anandaashram.org. https://anandaashram.org/event/living-resonance-07-2026/ We can’t wait to share this special afternoon with you! #yogaworkshop #hudsonvalleyyoga #anandaashramyoga #anandaashram #yogacommunity by @andreatyoga
What’s next in your practice? This class is for students who are ready to explore a little further, move a little deeper, and discover what’s possible through steady practice. We’ll build heat through flowing movement, cultivate strength, balance, mobility, and concentration, and explore postures that challenge us to grow. Not because the pose matters. Because the practice does. We take the practice seriously. Ourselves, not so much. After the effort comes the rest. Each class closes with an extended Sound Savasana, offering space to integrate, restore, and receive. 📍 Grassroots Yoga & Wellness

A Day in the Heart Workshop • NYC ❤️ Through satsang, stories, kirtan, and community, we were invited into the living legacy of Neem Karoli Baba and Ram Dass - a legacy carried forward through the Love Serve Remember Foundation and the teachers who so generously shared their wisdom, stories, humor, and heart throughout the day. These gatherings nourish something that words alone cannot fully capture and remind us of the deeper truths that unite us. I was grateful to share the day with dear friends, and honored to be in the room with teachers such as Krishna Das, Sharon Salzberg, Raghu Markus, and David Silver, whose wisdom, authenticity, humor, and decades of devoted practice continue to inspire and illuminate the path for so many. As it turns out, this gathering just happened to fall on my birthday. I can’t think of a better way to spend the day than in satsang and kirtan, surrounded by good company, open hearts, and the kind of conversations, teachings, and friendships that stay with you long after the day ends. A heartfelt thank you to my friends for their kindness, thoughtful surprises, and sweet birthday gifts, which made an already beautiful day even more memorable. by @andreatyoga
