We’re back after a busy summer, and Ben’s talking us through a dish that’s been going down particularly well lately.

Beetroot from @aral.farm , goat’s curd, capers, dumplings and truffle honey.

We’ll let Ben take it from here. taken in CountercultureNewquay by @aral.farm

It’s been a whirlwind of a summer so far, this year we have worked hard to strike the balance of life. Both showing a few signs of wear and tear, but more in the tank to get the farm through the season and planted for the next. Oh and it’s been a bit dry. by @aral.farm

Shallotfest 2026 was everything we love about Aral Farm — friends, family, and a farm full of energy. We harvested this year’s shallots by hand, prepped them for sale, and wrapped it all up with a BBQ stacked with our own homegrown produce. Nothing beats fresh food grown by good people and harvested with full hearts and great laughs. 🧅🔥🌿 taken in Cornwall, United Kingdom by @aral.farm

Part 1 | Regenerative Farming and the use of Cornish seaweed with @aral.farm

A sneak peak into the magical efforts at Aral Farm - Connor and Rose are doing some amazing things here. Using their spring fed pond to feed all of their plants, mixed with our 100% natural seaweed biostimulant via a dosatron and applied as a foliage spray.

More to come to see how our seaweed has impacted their growing this season 🥒 taken in St. Columb Major by @aral.farm

New series starting | @aral.farm 🌱

Over the next few weeks we’re taking you to Aral Farm near St Columb Major, and showing how our hand-collected seaweed is fitting into one of Cornwall’s most thoughtful small-scale growing operations.

Founded by Conor and Rose in 2022, Aral is a two-acre market garden built around a perennial system of food production and ecological connectivity. The land is managed organically, growing fresh produce for veg boxes, chefs and local markets. Their whole model is about proving that ecologically minded, diverse small farms can replace mass production with production by the masses.

That thinking is exactly why our seaweed feels at home here. Aral run it through a Dosatron, applied two ways: as a foliar spray to support the plants directly, and dosed straight into their irrigation to feed the soil and root systems below. Fully circular, UK seaweed, working with the soil rather than against it.

Follow along to see it in action across the coming weeks.

Exciting things to come 🌱 taken in St. Columb Major by @aral.farm

There are not many people who will happily meet at 6:30am on a Sunday morning - but Conor and Rose are those kind of people 🌱

They run @aralfarm, a two-acre market garden near Columb Major where they grow vegetables in an organic, sustainable way. Their aim? Replace supermarkets with super market gardens 🥬🥕

Ducks waddled along the bark-chip paths as Conor and Rose showed me polytunnels bursting with sweet-scented tomatoes and perfectly neat rows of spring onions 🍅

They primarily use hand tools to cultivate the land, showing me their no-till method and the resulting seriously top-quality soil ✨

And can you guess what their logo is? Not an onion, not a garlic bulb… A sweet chestnut, fruit from trees on-site that will last for five generations, which is ultimately their hope for Aral Farm 🌳

Most of their produce goes to local restaurants, but you can buy their veggies at @newquayfarmersmarket and @crantockfarmersmarket, among other local Newquay spots, or sign up for their veg box scheme (padron peppers - yes please!) 🤩

Thanks for having me to snap photos, @aralfarm! And showing me how to use a hoe! 💖
