In the 20+ years I have been coaching and training, I have never consumed alcohol before class. In fact, I don’t drink at all in my normal life. However, I’m more than proud to take a shot with my 1981 brother @aregueyra2. We are both 44 years old but we give these young thunder cats hell daily. Thank you and your family for the birthday gift!!!

This guy @aregueyra2 competed yesterday and won both of his matches by submission. It was great seeing him out on the mats competing! Keep on being awesome! 🤙🏽
Come and train with him on Mondays at @victorymmacs at 6pm. by @aregueyra2

🌟 When the team shows up to compete, we definitely show out 🥋! There’s nothing better than seeing everyone perform and doing it as a collective group. The support and love we have for each other is the best part of competition day. I’d also like to point out that we aren’t a BJJ gym or a Kickboxing gym—we’re an MMA gym, training Gi twice a week and No-Gi twice a week; yet we show up and still beat other pure BJJ teams. Same goes for kickboxing. That speaks volumes about the atmosphere at the gym!

✨Grateful to be back on the mat after 3 months off from a torn MCL. It feels amazing to roll with @aregueyra2, a student of mine for over 8 years, who still pushes me to the edge and surprises me with his toughness. His relentless strength and conditioning challenges me every session. Brother, you and I are 44 years old but we are showing that age doesn’t matter. 1981 gave birth to two stubborn, resilient fighters.

Tag a teammate you want to roll with this week! 🥋🤗

Women’s Boxing class was great today! Great push with the combo we went over! Using the parry is a great defense move to counterattack. Let’s keep up the momentum!! After that class I jumped into the class @aregueyra2 taught. That was a great boxing class. Join us on Saturday mornings @victorymmacs for all your physical fitness needs! See ya!! ✌🏽 #womenboxing #boxeofemenino #coloradosprings #colorado #boxingwomen #boxeomujeres #victorymmacs taken in Colorado Victory MMA by @aregueyra2

❤️‍🔥🥋 Congratulations to everyone who was promoted and received stripes tonight! The hard work you are putting in and the improvements you are making are not going unnoticed. Earning a higher belt is exciting, but getting a stripe has a lot of value too. Each stripe reflects your dedication and the baby steps you are taking towards something great. It helps the team keep track of where you are so we can hold you accountable. No slacking! Remember, rising tides lift all ships. So, from the top to the bottom, we must meet each other where we are but always challenge each other to improve slightly!
