Our dreams are still full of memories from Race 3, and we’re already buzzing with excitement for Race 4! 🤩 Race 3 brought cheers that could be heard across the state as our Plains Region athletes lined up in Jonesboro while our Plateau Region riders were ripping up the course in Bentonville! And that NEW Bentonville course? Something special! AR NICA was absolutely giddy to bring the NICA circuit back to Bentonville, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together. A HUGE thank-you to @we.are.trailblazers and our incredible NWA community for the support, countless volunteer hours, and enthusiasm that helped make this new venue a success! 👏 Now, the countdown is ON! ⏰🏁 Our 2026 State Championships are just around the corner, and we’re heading back to Fayetteville at the end of the month to bring our NICA family together one more time this season! New courses. New challenges. One incredible community. From Conway to Camp Robinson, @arkansasmtb is showing what’s possible when a mountain bike community comes together to build trails 🚲 At Conway Meadows Tech Park, more than 350 volunteer hours helped create 3.5 miles of trails designed for riders of all abilities, from skill development and practice to race days. At Camp Robinson, NICA is bringing together student-athletes, coaches, volunteers, engineers, military personnel, and community partners to create a one-of-a-kind trail system on an Arkansas National Guard installation 💫 And the impact of projects like these goes far beyond the trails themselves. They create places where families can gather, riders can grow, and more people can discover mountain biking. When NICA communities see an opportunity and rally around it, the result can be something that benefits an entire community for years to come 🎊 This is what happens when a community comes together around bikes. NICA communities are creating more places to ride, more opportunities for kids to get involved, and trails that will be here for years to come. 📢 Hey everyone, we’re back in Bentonville! Race 3 of the 2026 Arkansas NICA season is excited to join in the MTB Capital itself! 🚲 This morning 140+ community members joined to finalize some trail work and clean up leading to race 3. Massive thank you to all that joined! ❤️ Now what you’ve all been waiting for! 🙌 Course Details: In partnership with the @we.are.trailblazers organization, a new NICA venue has been developed in the heart of Bentonville. Arkansas NICA is returning to competition on October 3-4 for the first time since 2019 at a brand new venue at the top of Hand Cut Hollow.  Coaches and Athletes can expect a progression of skills needed to complete the two courses.    The Red Course will be 2.95 miles with just over 230 ft of elevation gain and introduce new challenges for our student athletes in the Middle School and JV3 Categories.    Varsity and JV1 and JV2 Categories will compete on a combination of the Red and Blue course that will be roughly 3.7 miles and adds another 200 ft in elevation gain to the challenge.  Athletes can expect a fast start into flowy berms where course decisions are made to take the Red/Blue Course. followed by some technical descents and climbs into open areas for passing opportunities.  The course will boast the longest sustained climb of the season on the Blue Course for HS athletes. The countdown is on!
