PILA project, designed by @lottostudio.mb for @artieri_1895 presented at @edit.napoli 2026.

A modular column system forms the basis of a family of tables, sideboards and shelving, combining handcrafted stone elements with thin, perforated stainless steel surfaces.
At Edit Napoli, the collection becomes an integral part of the space, interacting with its architecture and adapting to different contexts. Conceived as a flexible system of configurable modules, Pila can be composed and customised to meet a variety of needs, offering versatile solutions across different functions and settings.

Between light and matter, weight and transparency, function and contemplation, In Between explores the dialogue between alabaster, other materials, and the spaces they inhabit.

Through transformation and exchange, matter responds to its surroundings, revealing new possibilities and meanings. Objects suspended between function and contemplation.

FADE project, designed by @_zaven_ for @artieri_1895 , wins the award for Best Project in the Main section at @edit.napoli 2026.

The project reinterprets a precious material such as alabaster, transforming the joint into an expressive element. Colour and light reveal the object’s construction process, bringing solidity and transparency, poetry and rigour into dialogue. This exploration renews the language of traditional craftsmanship, evolving into a broad, cohesive and creative collection.

A subtle chromatic veil inhabits the edges, spreading through the material like a liquid shadow before gradually fading away. Naturally translucent alabaster does not simply receive the color: it dissolves it, transforms it, and returns it differently depending on the light.

In @_zaven_ research for Artieri 1895, the joint becomes the protagonist of the new FADE collection.
Here, the theme of In Between becomes a formal statement. Rather than concealing the points of connection, as tradition has long dictated, the design brings them to the surface, transforming the joint into a visible element and giving it colour. What is usually hidden becomes the defining feature of the object.
