Thank all of you who came out to celebrate, share tradition, stories, advice and future yearnings with us at my Roots and Wings Sankofa experience workshop yesterday @artstination ❤️🖤💚‼️There were words of wisdom dropped by elders and from the mouths of babes! Yall-traditions are changing and there continues to be hope in the formation of new and old villages! Such beautifully unique creations! And I didn’t realize how much I needed those hugs! @valeriefromthegallery thanks to you and the team for the wonderful set up for a smooth event, loved seeing art going to new homes even as we painted 😍💛 #yemonjapaints #sankofa #juneteenth #pgahc taken in Arts'tination by @artstination
