A must-see in South Florida @spadymuseum preserves and shares history of black pioneers and culture in Palm Beach County. This 100-year-old house of an incredible educator and innovator, Solomon D Spady. It allows us to step back in time to consider all elements of the past, both joyous and painful, as well as the generations of people who have shaped the businesses, culture, churches, schools, and neighborhoods we appreciate today.

Step in during MOSAIC with @palmbeachculture and enjoy 50% off an enhanced museum experience! Visit www.MOSAICPBC.com for details.

WHATTT A SURPRISE - when is the last time you were shocked by a friend like this?! I’m still in total awe that my friend @paulawoodwardauthor flew in to surprise me from Denver at my art show reception at @armoryartcenter in West Palm Beach!! 🥹

I love and respect this woman so much, both as my friend, and as an outstanding journalist, author, and human being. She’s made the world better for so many and continues to do so!! So, so, so grateful our paths crossed many years ago and that we have such a meaningful friendship.

(Also, slightly scared Paula and my husband can carry on with this plan under wraps since September, how is that possible?! 😂)

Thank you to ALL who have come through!!

See “Bread + Butter” at the Armory Center in West Palm Beach, Florida through May 8!
