Took my 8-year-old to the @armoryartcenter to see “Bread and Butter” by @ashleigh_art 🎨 Since 3 years old she’s been making her own installation pieces from recycled materials. This exhibit was the perfect opportunity for her to see what that looks like on a larger scale. Ritz crackers. Ring pops. Honey bears. Cereal boxes. Just everyday items turned into captured in a way to make you pause for a second and smile. If you’re in Palm Beach County, this is worth a visit. The exhibit runs through May 8 and it’s free. Stop by, take your time, and ask the front desk about their classes. They offer options for both kids and adults. The Armory is one of those places we have access to in Palm Beach County but don’t always use. Definitely one to tap into.

WHATTT A SURPRISE - when is the last time you were shocked by a friend like this?! I’m still in total awe that my friend @paulawoodwardauthor flew in to surprise me from Denver at my art show reception at @armoryartcenter in West Palm Beach!! 🥹 I love and respect this woman so much, both as my friend, and as an outstanding journalist, author, and human being. She’s made the world better for so many and continues to do so!! So, so, so grateful our paths crossed many years ago and that we have such a meaningful friendship. (Also, slightly scared Paula and my husband can carry on with this plan under wraps since September, how is that possible?! 😂) Thank you to ALL who have come through!! See “Bread + Butter” at the Armory Center in West Palm Beach, Florida through May 8! @ashleigh_art #ashleighwalters @armoryartcenter
