Took @stephychica ballroom class @thestreetzdance and it did not disappoint! The combo was 🔥 This was my second time taking ballroom, and I LOVE IT! But also, it’s SO HARD!! I was working my butt off in class, and was doing okayyy until…I got called out to dance at the end. I missed “the one” and absolutely couldn’t catch up 🫣 Truly a dancer’s worst nightmare! A room full of students, parents, teachers, and other faculty members. I. Was. Mortified. 😱 BUT (there’s a lesson here) I didn’t give up! As soon as I could get back into the combo, I did. I ain’t no quitter!! 😂 It was a humbling experience to say the least, but I hope people see this (especially the kids) and realize it happens to ALL of us! Move on and hopefully come back stronger the next time. This video, is my redemption—I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I have A LOT of work to do, but I’m proud of myself for taking class and training in a new style 💖 by @ashleydancefit
