The little girl from the projects… who would’ve thought she’d grow up and write a book?

Today, I held my book in my hands for the very first time. I cried. I smiled. I laughed. I rejoiced. All the emotions, all the feelings. And through it all, I just kept thinking about the faithfulness of God.

I’m so thankful for the journey He has taken me on. So thankful that He never left me. So thankful that I can look back now and clearly see the hand of God, even in the seasons when I didn’t recognize it at the time.

This is just the beginning of something so special. And I’m deeply grateful for every single person who has prayed for me, encouraged me, listened to me talk about this book (over and over 😅), and walked with me along the way. You’ve been part of this story too.

Today, I’m reminded that God really can take “little to nothing,” and somehow create something marvelous. And here she is… my book. She’s beautiful. And I’m just so, so thankful.

Thank You, Jesus. 🥹❤️🙏

10 years of walking with Jesus. 🥹🥹

And man, if there’s one thing I’ve learned over these last 10 years, it’s just how gracious, patient, merciful, and loving God truly is.

When I think about the 21 years He patiently pursued my heart before I surrendered my life to Him, and now the 10 years I’ve had the privilege of walking with Him, both speak so deeply of His love for me.

His patience before my yes and His faithfulness after my yes. What a beautiful picture of His love.

I am forever grateful that He never gave up on me, and I’m still learning to extend that same grace, patience, and love to others.

Cheers to 10 years with Jesus and here’s to a lifetime of knowing Him more deeply. by @ashleydminor

Wow… it’s happening. 🥹

Come Like a Child Ministries, Inc. is officially cleared, and I’m so incredibly grateful.

My heart is to step into collegiate ministry, women’s ministry, and simply continue walking through every door the Lord opens. I’m so excited to see what He does through this ministry and all the opportunities ahead.

Thank you to every person who has supported me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and believed in what God is doing.

Ashley Minor is on the Saltworks this week, and as always she is just a delight. Today we are finally getting to sit down and talk all about Ashley’s debut book Aisle 29: Where Heaven Met My Hurry. Well acquainted with waiting seasons, Ashley shares with us her story of finding herself in a place she didn’t expect to be, wondering what the purpose was. We talk about her time at Walmart and how what felt forgotten really prompted her purpose– writing her book for the world to read. Ashley goes into breaking down different places we can be in our waiting, the lies we can feel tempted to believe here, and what’s actually true in each. by @ashleydminor

Unfortunately, I grew up in a family where everything is in fact a competition! 🤷🏽‍♀️😅

Labor Day 2026: The Minor Family

This past Labor Day weekend, we continued a tradition we started a few years ago, and every time I leave my family and drive back to Texas, I find myself reflecting on what a gift they are to me.

I’m grateful for the Minors! for the laughter, the joy, the competitiveness, how incredibly well they cook, their passion for one another, and the lengths they would go to show up for each other.

No family is perfect. We have flaws. I’m sure every person could name something they wish was different or something we could grow in. But when I step back and focus on the unity, the love, and the way family matters to us, I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude.

I love how big our family is. I love that there’s never enough room but we make room because everybody is there. I love that feeling.

I love that friends want to come because they know the invitation is extended to them too and when they do, they feel the love.

I love the noise. I love the food. I love the competition. I love the laughter. I love the togetherness. I love it all.

I’m just so grateful for another incredible weekend spent with my family.
