10 years of walking with Jesus. 🥹🥹

And man, if there’s one thing I’ve learned over these last 10 years, it’s just how gracious, patient, merciful, and loving God truly is.

When I think about the 21 years He patiently pursued my heart before I surrendered my life to Him, and now the 10 years I’ve had the privilege of walking with Him, both speak so deeply of His love for me.

His patience before my yes and His faithfulness after my yes. What a beautiful picture of His love.

I am forever grateful that He never gave up on me, and I’m still learning to extend that same grace, patience, and love to others.

Cheers to 10 years with Jesus and here’s to a lifetime of knowing Him more deeply.

Ashley Minor is on the Saltworks this week, and as always she is just a delight. Today we are finally getting to sit down and talk all about Ashley’s debut book Aisle 29: Where Heaven Met My Hurry. Well acquainted with waiting seasons, Ashley shares with us her story of finding herself in a place she didn’t expect to be, wondering what the purpose was. We talk about her time at Walmart and how what felt forgotten really prompted her purpose– writing her book for the world to read. Ashley goes into breaking down different places we can be in our waiting, the lies we can feel tempted to believe here, and what’s actually true in each.

Cain asked it as an excuse. I want to answer it as a calling. “Yes, I am my brother’s keeper.” Genesis 4, and every face that’s ever kept me. 🤎 #GenesisSeries #Genesis4 #AmIMyBrothersKeeper #Community #bible

1000 downloads! 🥹🥳

This pod started because we basically were having these convos that would start off as a few minutes that spanned to hours (hence the name of the pod 😉) - Two time zones & two different seasons of life, but thankful for the time carved out to record these episodes. But even more thankful for the people who have listened. 🎙️🥹🫶🏽

Thank you for listening & we hope we can continue to draw near to God & invite you along to do the same.

What if your waiting season is not a punishment but an invitation?

On this week's episode of Neighbors, Ashley shares her journey of an unexpected waiting season and how God met her in aisle 29 of Walmart with hope and a purpose.

She shares how we often wish away or just power through waiting seasons and maybe, just maybe, God has more for us in those than we think.

Wherever you find yourself, in the midst of a dream deferred, a loss that rattled your world, or just looking for God in your life, this conversation is for you.

Grab a copy of her book "Aisle 29: Where Heaven Met My Hurry" 🤍

You don’t have to stop desiring marriage to stop being distracted by it.

I’ve learned that when I fill my life with purpose: reading, healing, growing in my faith, taking care of my body, building meaningful friendships, joining CrossFit, running with others, I have less time to obsess over what I don’t have and more gratitude for what God is doing right now.

I didn’t join CrossFit to find a husband. I joined because I wanted to become stronger.

I didn’t join a run club to meet someone. I joined because I wanted to care for the body God gave me.

If I meet my husband along the way, praise God. If not, I’ll still be living a full, meaningful life.

Your singleness isn’t a waiting room. It’s a season to steward well.

Episode 27 is out now! Listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. 💪👀😎
