Calm for the opening…

Villa is a new museum for contemporary, multidisciplinary art, housed in a listed building at the cultural park Westergas in Amsterdam.

The design encompasses a complete refurbishment and reconsideration of the former engineers villa into a Museum.

Lastly all interior devices we’ve designed for PLEIN have been installed. From April onwards a Kiosk, Tribunes and an open Kitchen have been rolling into this XXL public plaza as part of the newly opened FENIX museum in Rotterdam. taken in Fenix by @ateliertomasdirrix

Excited to be selected for OpenOproep48 and looking forward to help build a school for special education in a green pocket of Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. And very nice meeting all parties on site, wading through tall grasses @teamvlaamsbouwmeester @generiek @komaanarchitecten @cuypers.q.architecten by @ateliertomasdirrix
