Early 50th birthday celebration 🍸✨
At the weekend I went for a very special afternoon tea at the Savoy in London with two of my friends Jo and Cath.
The Savoy is so stunning, everywhere you look there is something special and beautiful to see. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and made our visit even more memorable. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were so delicious and I got a special birthday cake and message from them as well. I felt very spoilt and thoroughly enjoyed it. So far turning 50 is turning out to be ok 🥰

We spent last weekend with friends in Dublin 🇮🇪 So for Mikes birthday cake this year I decided to bake for him a Guinness birthday cake (he may of enjoyed a pint of two whilst we were they’re 🥴)
I’d never had Guinness cake before, but I did try some whilst we were in Dublin and I was totally shocked what it tasted like! Such a moist chocolate cake. I’d always imagined it to be a dense heavy cake but how wrong was I! The cream cheese frosting is silky smooth and tastes Devine!

I used a recipe by @nigellalawson

I’d never made a cake in a saucepan before, so easy to make and wow it’s delicious!
The birthday boyfriend was very happy 🥳

One of my dental nurses who I work with asked me if I would make the viral Easter cornflake crunch cake she had seen on social media. Here is my attempt of @rubybarneybritton Easter cake creation.
It’s all wrapped up and ready to take into work tomorrow so I’m hoping the crew aren’t all full up on Easter chocolate from the weekend and there is a little more room for this chocolate treat!
I hope you have all had a lovely Easter weekend 🌼🐰🐥
