Sometimes it takes more strength to understand you need to pause, to take a breath, and to collect yourself than it does to put your head down. Putting your head down and working harder is something I’ve mastered through the course of my life. Isolating myself, taking time, that’s something I never gave myself permission to do.

When we engage with each other on a deeper level we find that we have so much more in common than we would ever know.

We recognize bonds we didn’t know were there.

We talk about things we never have.

We become brothers.

This is the support we need to tap back into love on this journey and stay out of the trap of fear.

When you understand what it takes to be the best football player you can be you understand it will be measured in the same breath as how great a human you are. If you’re going to find fulfillment, if you’re going to find flow, if you’re going to have joy.

Weekends like this are a spark to our best. To deep connection. To deep relationships. To brotherhood.

And I believe with that foundation, that anything is possible!

I love you guys man.

I’m more than just a coach and you are more than just a player 🩵

Everyone likes to put things in boxes or label things. I don’t think you’re supposed to fit in a box or be a label.

I think you’re supposed to live FULL.

You’re more than a QB.

You’re a wild young spirit.

You’re a great friend.

You’re a good student.

You’re happy.

You’re sad.

You’re fun.

You’re lame.

We all are so different but all the same.

Just striving to be our best in our own individual ways and to be willing to live the way you feel I think is the ultimate goal.

To adventure.

To win.

To lose.

To love.

I’ve made a big difference in this world. And I hope that you one day too can spread your wings and take yourself less seriously.

To work tirelessly to be your best, and also remember deep down that you’re so much more than you achieve.

I’m a great man, a great coach, an artist, a philosopher, a quarterback, a brother, a friend, and many other things.

You can label me how you want, but you’ll only ever know one Austyn Carta-Samuels.

When you feel like you’re long in your upper half, eliminate your lower half 🔑🔒✨

Trim the fat.

I love working accuracy without using my lower body because it eliminates needing to balance and allows it to just be work on the paint brush.

Your back stroke is tied to stride.

When we eliminate the ability to stride we reduce any timing in our upper half.

We simplify.

I think it nailed it 🤣😭

I definitely do my own thing. I’ve always been that way. I’m respectful and work hard but I form my own truths in life. Pain and success does that to you.

Being on that stage, accomplishing your goals, and getting knocked down and losing yourself in that process. That’ll birth purpose.

When I was young I assumed you can’t be great and still have that doubt and pain in you. That’s not true. That doubt and pain drives you places. It plants deep curiosity inside you to discover the meaning of life and your purpose.

I coach for the purity of coaching. To make others lives better and allow them to find themselves through the game. Mental performance and human optimization are at the foundation of what I believe makes a QB great yes, but ultimately provides the life skills for one to succeed well beyond their career on the field. To find Flow.

I’m wildly passionate about making this world a better place and serving in the time I have on this earth. I want to inspire a generation of young men and women to understand they are more than what they are on the field, but they can use the field to find out and build who they are in that process.

Football is life.

And how well you learn to adapt to it, to grow through it, to become a more self aware, hard working, loving, and a more authentic human, the more doors open for you.

I truly have deep love for everyone on my path, and I’m excited to continue to take LockedIn and the special community of like minded people and great families to new understandings and new possibilities.
