🎙️ Ever wondered about the titles we use in Jiu Jitsu? Are they a badge of honor or a barrier? 🤔

Drop a comment if you've felt this!

In this episode, we dive deep into the debate around titles like "Professor" and "Coach" in the Jiu Jitsu community. 🥋

Ben Kool shares his insights on how these titles can create respect but also a hierarchy that might not serve everyone.

We explore:
- The impact of titles on student-teacher dynamics
- The importance of critical thought in teaching
- How to balance authority with approachability in the dojo

Join us as we unravel the complexities of respect, authority, and the true essence of teaching Jiu Jitsu.

What do you think? Are titles necessary, or do they create unnecessary barriers? Let's discuss! 💬

I don’t think there is a more active competitor in Canada. Doing the technical work in class, competing every weekend across North America, and most importantly, a solid teammate and friend to so many at AJJ; congrats Vince, keep inspiring!! taken in Authentic Jiu Jitsu by @authenticjiujitsu
