This one is for us 📸🥋☝🏻

It’s not often I speak up about the organizer or myself at jiujitsu events. I know the level of strength it takes to compete and my praise is always to the athletes. They are the reason the competition goes on…but the reason the competition exists is because someone put their life into starting it.

Submission Ace Championship tournaments were the staple of my competition years from white to purple and I have been a customer then client to Drew since 2014.

Many might not know but Drew hired me for years to take photos and would just hand them out to the entire tournament; attendees, teams and families at no cost. His stance has always been to give back.

As we all are feeling the financial uncertainty as of late, Drew could not afford media coverage of the tournament today. I was in BC set to start my second winter away from the cold so my fur kids could have a better life.

But Drew was there for everyone for over a decade so I decided I’m making the extra drive to support him.

In an attempt to cover my gas, my photos will be available for purchase, as those who requested me to cover their matches know.

If I don’t cover my gas, that’s ok, the main purpose was to support Drew and give him memories of his legacy he keeps alive no matter the cost 🫶🏻

Thank you to everyone who reached out prior for coverage requests and I hope in between walking Sienna and Howie that I got something of everyone.

Stay tuned for the link once I’m done editing 👩🏼‍💻

Mucho Gracias familia ❤️
