If someone had told me a year ago that I would be here today, I would have looked at them in disbelief.

It is such a huge honour to be part of the Journey exhibition with Karan Thakur at @blicklingnt @nationaltrust.

To the beautiful team at @blicklingnt, thank you. You have been incredible.

And @__xmariya @_m.arif_, thank you so much for representing Avizeh and our team when I couldn’t be there myself. It means more than I can say.

I’ve been hearing that families and children are coming especially to see my work, and truly, what more could I ask for? That is the part I cherish most.

To be able to share the stories of our artisans, to share the beauty and centuries-old craft of Afghanistan, is deeply emotional for me.

Maybe a little girl will walk into that room and discover what centuries of Afghan fashion, craftsmanship discover what centuries of Afghan fashion, craftsmanship and talent hold. Maybe she will see Afghanistan through its artistry, its hands, its history and its beauty.

Because these are not simply clothes.

They carry the stories of real Afghan women and men , their hands, their journeys, their resilience, and their hope to build something meaningful and sustainable.

To have those stories seen, remembered and cherished is everything. by @avi.z.eh

I take behind the scenes as something very serious 🙈 . I had the most amazing time in the uk . First began shooting in wales what a dream . My last week was unexpected and Amazing being featured on a national trust site to exhibit was only something I could dream of . These opportunities are rare and special one for the books . Such a amazing few weeks back home . Two amazing projects I worked on and it was a dream . Editoral shoot up in tintern abbey with the amazing @hobopeeba and what a honour it was to work with the @nationaltrust part of the journeys exhibition at blickling estate . A British heritage site dating back to the 16th century . What a honour can’t wait to share more about it ✨ by @avi.z.eh

Today marks five years since the devastating events in Kabul. Many of us remember the haunting images from the airport , but do we remember what followed, and what is still happening in Afghanistan today?

Five years on, I want to highlight some of the most pressing realities: the continued erosion of Afghan women’s rights and freedoms, the plight of Afghans being deported and forced to return, and a devastating hunger and humanitarian crisis.

The headlines may have faded, but the crisis has not. Afghanistan must not be forgotten. 🇦🇫 by @avi.z.eh

People often ask me about my journey. This is one part of the eight-month journey of creating the Warrior Collection.

The challenges have been endless, but the goal has always remained the same: to empower the Afghan refugee community and the people working on the ground within Afghanistan.

I feel it is important to share this journey because so many people do not have the opportunity or platform to tell their own stories. While these challenges impact me, they do not impact me nearly as heavily as they impact the workers themselves.

It would be easy to give up. It would be easy to walk away. But through every challenge, we must continue.

Often, people see me simply as a designer speaking about the women who create my work. What they do not see are the realities behind it all , the obstacles, the uncertainty, and the determination required to keep moving forward. This journey is unlike anything else I have experienced.

I do not believe in replacing people or abandoning them because circumstances become difficult. We move forward together. We always walk together.

I have yet to meet someone following this same path, but I hope I do. More importantly, I hope many more people join it. Together, we can create opportunities for those living in incredibly difficult conditions and provide a dignified way for them to support their families.

This has always been about more than fashion, and it always will be. 🫶✨ by @avi.z.eh
