🏈 🍉 Game day hydration, Rose Bowl edition!

The star of my game day wasn’t on the field — it was the fresh watermelon juice from the concessions stand. Cold, delicious, and smarter than it looks.

My pairing was not an accident: watermelon juice + a salted pretzel.

The pretzel brings the sodium. The juice brings the fluid, the potassium, and natural sugars — including the glucose that pairs with sodium at your gut’s SGLT transporter, so the water actually gets absorbed.

It’s the same trick oral rehydration solutions use, just wearing game day clothes.

The girls went açaí bowls — fluid, fruit, carbs. Also works.

Want to make it at home? My Watermelon Cooler recipe is in today’s story.💧+ 🍉 + 🧂+ 🧊

The Daily Trojan wrote up Saturday’s show. 💛

“We decided to be ballsy,” she told them — and then she and her group actually landed Jason Mraz.

That’s my girl. ✌️❤️

Choosing for the vibe today, not the science ☕️

Took my girls to afternoon tea and did the most unscientific thing ever: picked our teas purely on vibes.

Warm cup, slow afternoon, zero overthinking.

And honestly? There’s real value in that too.

But if you ever want the evidence version… the peppermint and ginger tea episode is waiting for you 🎧

I think this empty nester is having a day 🥹

Senior year lease: signed ✍️ (yes, it’s so competitive that senior housing needs to be locked in NOW).

Came to visit my girl at the Tri Delta house today and just soaked it all in — the pretty corners, the cozy chaos, her whole world.

These are the days I’ll miss someday, so I’m collecting them now 🤍

Happy National Daughters Day 💕

Our two favorite people in the world.

Watching you grow into the incredible women you are becoming is the greatest privilege.

You make us laugh, you make us proud, and you make this family everything it is.

Love you both endlessly.

Capri Sun just dropped its BIGGEST pouch ever — and it comes EMPTY. 👀

The Big Pouch: 9 inches tall, holds 24 oz (3x a regular pouch), $6, reusable. Daily drops on Walmart.com Sept 21–24.

My doctor take: a reusable pouch is genuinely great — IF you fill it with water.

Fill it with actual Capri Sun and that’s three pouches’ worth of sugar in one! 😳

Love the concept. Just don’t fill it with juice. 💧

🎃 Your pumpkin spice latte has almost no pumpkin in it.

Real pumpkin = fiber + water + potassium for your gut.

Canned counts — scoop it into oatmeal, smoothies, or soup, and drink water with it.
