POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I have sent out this open letter to the Edinburgh Comedy Awards Panel, to start a discussion on a topic that is rarely (if ever) discussed.

It’s about the continuation of The Fringe, and how we recognise and celebrate the full spectrum of talent and creativity that appears here each year. There is presently a huge imbalance in how the comedy industry recognises talent, and I think there might be a way to both acknowledge that inequality and perhaps redress the imbalance.

I hope you’ll take a moment to read it, and consider helping the conversation reach the people who can act on it.

With the warmest and with thanks for your time,

New rules! Football rules mirror the economy rules. Millionaires, comedians, footballers, and content creators are putting on a football match to show how rigged the economy really is. Poor Barry Billionaire. Meanwhile, some emotionally regulated millionaires care about the country, want to pay more tax, and are putting on a football match to show how rigged the economy really is.
