wow my first ever film is done!! wtf you guys!! i used to spend hours after school watching short films on youtube, and to now begin doing that myself is something really amazing to me. it’s been 16 weeks of morphing and crafting such a beautiful and vulnerable story. i’m very excited to start pushing the gas on my film making career 🫶🏾🫶🏾

💐the very first person i wanna thank is @sybilfreek . first off sabrina is an amazing film maker and creative and i’m very inspired by her and her approach to her art. sabrina listened to me talk her ear off this summer during work about wanting to become a film maker but not knowing where to start. she recommended i apply for the Doc U program, and i’m very blessed she gifted me this opportunity.
🌷i would like to thank my @myspnn mentors. i’m a unique student with that comes with unique circumstances, and they embraced me every part of the way. emma, serena, and maya were the most encouraging and helpful mentors ever, and they continued to believe in me even when i was having doubts of my own. thank you for making this experience even more special. thank you for believing in my vision and story, and for seeing the potential in what could be.
💐lastly i wanna thank my girls!! thank you for helping hold me accountable and letting me rant about vhs tapes and library computers. taken in SPNN by @beee.tv
