the albanian riviera is the most underrated european coastline. we didn’t make it to every beach, but i’d go back to every one we did tomorrow.

in order, from north to south 🏖️

📍 meguci bay
📍 dhërmi
📍 gjipe
📍 livadhi (+ aquarium beach)
📍 himarë
📍 filikuri
📍 pulëbardha
📍 ksamil islands

tip: pack water shoes!! most of these are pebble beaches, and a few take a hike to reach.

albania’s food scene is TOOO slept on!! every place we visited was special. so many restaurants were family-run, cooking with ingredients from their own garden or farm. and always made with love!

swipe for (almost) everything i ate and drank, and save this for your trip. will be dreaming of these meals until next time… 💭

@verona_pizza_pa is debunking every myth about food in the suburbs — on par or better than the top contenders in the city? 👀

48-hour fermented dough. Made to order. Simple menu, quality ingredients. And the owners Vince and Mo are as passionate and hospitable as they get.

I got the classic cheesesteak, Drunken Grandma vodka square pie, hot honey pepperoni pie and hot buffalo wings. Had leftovers for days and still can’t get enough. OK VERONA!!! 👏🏼
