A blessed moment for us🌼
We had the honour of meeting Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and offering him our Gajanana Sushobhan Thali, the Hanuman Chalisa, and a very special Ardhanarishwar Sushobhan Thali created just for him.

The way his eyes lit up, that joyful, amazed expression felt like a blessing we will always remember.
In that moment, we felt his warmth, kindness, and sincere encouragement for our journey.
We are deeply grateful for his blessings on the path ahead.

Our time at the ashram was also very special…
Walking through the peaceful campus, learning new things, and spending time in silence gave us so much clarity and joy.
As a team, we came back inspired, more connected, and full of gratitude for this experience.
Exploring the ashram felt like moving through a quiet prayer, where seva, wisdom, and devotion are part of everyday life.

#nostalgia While addressing various questions at an event, I recalled the feeling on the day when this news was announced. It was early in the morning at 4 am when the email arrived, and I was frozen; it felt like a silent answer to every negativity. Getting on the list is a special feeling. #forbes30under30 #asia #socialentrepreneur by @binishdesai

What happens to Ganesha idols after visarjan? 🙏

Most are made of Plaster of Paris, and the remnants usually end up as municipal waste. Dr. Binish Desai, the Recycle Man of India, saw something else in that waste.

In 2024, he launched the POP Ganesh Recycling Initiative in Mumbai, turning immersed idols into school benches, planters and gifting articles. That grew into From Devotion to Education, with Pushpam and Beach Please.

♻️ Idol remnants collected within 24 hours of visarjan
📚 760 study tables distributed in the Navi Mumbai pilot, with support from Rotary Club JOG and CSR partners
🌍 7.3 kg CO2e saved per study table

Over a million students in Maharashtra's government schools still sit on the floor. This is what happens when faith meets sustainability. 🌿

Tag someone who needs to see this. 👇

What if visarjan waste could help a child study?

Meet Malhar & Binish - the duo giving Ganpati idols a second life.

Instead of letting POP idols pollute our water bodies after visarjan.

They recycle them into study tables and benches for needy children.

From visarjan to vidya - this is what real circular economy looks like.

Learning becomes more meaningful when it moves beyond the classroom. 🌿

We were happy to welcome the teachers from Valsad Convent School to our factory, where they experienced firsthand the journey of sacred waste, from temple flowers and discarded materials to thoughtfully crafted products.

From understanding our processes to meeting the women artisans behind every creation, the visit offered a closer look at the people, purpose and effort behind our work.

Because when teachers experience it themselves, they can take real-world insights back to their classrooms and inspire the next generation to see waste differently. ♻️ taken in Valsad Gujrat by @binishdesai

Bappa came home, and with Him came a little more love, laughter and togetherness. ❤️🙏🏻

Having everyone together for His arrival, sharing aarti, prasad, conversations and countless little moments made these days so special. There is something about Bappa’s presence that makes a home feel warmer and hearts feel closer.

This year, even our celebration carried a little more meaning. Every corner was decorated with fresh flowers, which will now continue their journey through recycling. 🌸♻️ Around Bappa, we placed our Ashtavinayak plates, made from flowers once offered at Ganesha temples and recycled Ganesha idols after visarjan, giving sacred materials a beautiful new life.

Thank you, Bappa, for bringing us together and filling our home with love, gratitude and memories to cherish.

Until you come home again. ❤️

Ganpati Bappa Morya! ✨

Thank you @cloudpep.media @_the.picturepatch_ @ap_edits.in for capturing the beautiful moments☺️

What if something left behind as waste after Ganpati visarjan could help a child study?

That’s exactly what Malhar and Binish are working towards. By recycling POP idols that would otherwise end up as waste, they’ve created 12+ useful products, including study tables and benches.

So far, they’ve recycled 3,000+ kg of POP and made 760 study tables, helping children from economically weaker families get better support for their studies.

What makes this initiative special is how it brings two important needs together: reducing waste and making education more accessible for children who need it.

Their work shows how a problem that seems difficult to solve can be given a second life, and made useful for someone who truly needs it.

Want to support this initiative and help build brighter futures for children? Contact Malhar and Binish and be a part of this change.
