“He who jumps into the void owes no explanation to those who stand and watch.”

When I retired six years ago, I knew I wasn’t truly retiring. I was simply closing one chapter of my life and stepping into the next.

It’s difficult to describe that kind of certainty. I had no idea what the future held or where the path would lead, but something deep within me knew it was time to embrace the unknown.

“It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live.”

You’ve asked for new rashguards and we listened. Made for those that were gifted with the gift of violence but choose to fight for God. The Hands For War rashguard is now for sale. Quantifies are limited, get yours while supplies last. Stay dangerous Goon Squad.

All I hear is f*ckin excuses. 🥱

Either keep being a do-nothing cop and shut your mouth, or change your mindset, get out from under the tree, and start being proactive.

The streets are full of work. Go find it. 🥷⚡️

Working top pin>knee on top>to turn over>to handcuffing.

Why Do we choose knee on top over side control. Simple, mobility and situational awareness.

Mount offers its advantages, but the over connection creates the potential to be reversed and we also lose some of our mobility from mount.

Knee on top allows us to maintain a pin while also giving us the ability to disconnect if we begin to lose control.

DPS ACT Foundations courses are open to all law enforcement. Be on the lookout for us coming to your area soon!

Body lock entries of an aggressive subject who is striking. We are always looking to control distance, either being out of striking range, or crashing through in order to achieve a clinch and bring our subject to the ground in order to effect control.
