Take a moment (right now) to pause and reflect on some choices you have made in the past, and really think about the direction your life took because of them, both good and bad.

A wise man told me, “you choose your hard”.

* Being obese is hard / Eating Right and Exercising is Hard
* Having a crappy job is hard / Being broke is hard

We constantly make hard choices one way or another, but what’s separates “average” from extraordinary is taking the success and failure from our choices; greeting them with the same enthusiasm to continue to evolve.

You could have given a class an honest try ... Or Not

You could have stuck it out when you were frustrated ... Or Not

You could have done the challenging rounds ... Or Not

You could have persevered through struggles ... Or Not

You could have stuck with it when you were depressed ... Or Not

You could have taken your self defense seriously ... Or Not

I am so happy to know extraordinary people.

Today, right now, we have the choice to focus on what we want, and when we find real joy and love for the things we use to fill out time, we can then achieve whatever we want ... Or Not

The question of how to deal with when someone grabs your vest carrier while resisting or actively fighting comes up a lot.

I shot this video awhile back, but thought it was worth reposting

Going over some grip breaking options for if someone grabs your outer vest carrier.
