For our birthdays, we want to celebrate with the best way we know how -- DANCING and doing some good for our community!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, we decided to co-teach the virtual Saturday 10:30am ET // 9:30am CT class -- and make it free to register. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
During class, we will be taking donations via Venmo for @browngirltherapy, the first/largest mental health community for children of immigrants promoting therapy, biculturalism and social justice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Post class, we're going straight into a dance party co-hosted by @browngirlmag and spun by one of our favorite DJs, @pareshg from the @currysmugglers. We've already sent him some of our requests...get ready for an EPIC set. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We'd love to have your energy in class dancing with us this weekend (and always). Register via our link in bio or DM us w questions. Please share this free event with YOUR #BollywoodBesties and join us for a sweaty, super fun class. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lots of love, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

No, that’s not a filter. We danced in the rain this weekend, and it was magical.

It’s been…idk how long anymore since I’ve taught in person. I cannot describe the extreme exhilaration and explosion of joy I felt dancing at the @kennedycenter

Thank you, @jb3wishes for always making sure @doonyaworld does the most amazing things and for bringing me out. You are my heart.

@dholi_ram - you are a true talent and artist — it was an honor to dance to your beats. I cannot wait to collab more soon!

@jayastar @mainaparna - your energy was EVERYTHING.

Thank you @districtofraga and @nistharaj for such wonderful programming.

@kajaldancer - this choreo gives me allll the life

So grateful to have spent the weekend in NYC after SO long. While the trip was full of so many emotions, I was beautifully reminded how physical proximity doesn’t define a connection unless you want it to. Just gotta rope the ones who matter in w an invisible lasso of love ….and a thumka. @gayatribahl 💜💜 by @bolly_hero
