For those of you who don’t know me, l am @so.ph.ie1 🤍 I’m currently living in the UK with my husband, daughter and my fur baby.

I absolutely LOVE travel and have done forever. When I graduated university, I travelled the world and knew my passion for traveling was not over! I decided to get some wings & fly for a living! I moved to Dubai & worked for Emirates ✈️

From there, I moved home & continued travelling the world. I took all the knowledge I learnt from Emirates & exploring & channeled it into a side hustle.

At first when I was introduced to this opportunity- I was like absolutely NOT! But TRUST me when I say it really has been the best five years! I just wish I joined way before but hey that’s hindsight for you!

Did you know commission is already built into so many travel transactions? ✈️🌍

Hotels, flights, car hire, cruises, holidays, airport parking… the list goes on!

Depending on the booking, commission can be anywhere from 10–20% (and varies by supplier and transaction).

A little day in the life from yesterday 🎥✨

Taking you along on my full time 9–5 corporate role which, by the way, is coming to an end this month. HALLELUJAH!!!! 😂🙌🏼 my toilet trips because yep my IBS is just NOT THE ONE.

Anyways I finished the day by meeting one of my travel girlies before heading to a Plannet Marketing event.

I went last week too, and I try to get to as many of these events as I can (when life and plans allow!).

Why? Because being in a room full of incredible individuals, hearing their stories and seeing what’s possible is honestly INSANE. 🤯

You hear from people who have walked in our shoes. People who have been thousands of pounds in debt, been made redundant, faced illness and experienced everything else life can throw at us… yet they’re still standing tall, rebuilding and creating something for themselves.

Some are earning an extra £500 a month. Some £1,000. Others are multiple six-figure and even seven-figure earners.

And do you know what?

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to success.

What you want might be an extra £500 a month to take the pressure off. It might be £1,000 to give your family more breathing room. It might be the freedom to travel more, spend more time with your children, leave your 9–5 or build something that gives you long-term options.

Whatever your heart desires, your goals are YOURS. ❤️

I started this business purely for the savings and earnings on my own travel. I never imagined it would turn into everything it has.

Get yourself in a room with people who are already doing what you aspire to do. 👏🏼✨

Surround yourself with people who inspire you, challenge you, push you outside your comfort zone and show you what’s possible.

Because when you’re around people who think bigger, dream bigger and take action, it naturally starts to rub off on you.

You don’t have to be the most experienced person in the room. You just have to be willing to learn, listen and grow.

**Your environment matters. Your circle matters. And the people you surround yourself with can change everything.** 🤍

So get in the room. Even when it feels uncomfortable. Especially when it feels uncomfortable.

I joined this business purely for the savings and earnings on my own travel… ✈️ & I think it's safe to say, it’s turned into something SO much bigger than I ever imagined.

But this will actually be the THIRD time I’ve had this business to fall back on. And that’s something I don’t think I’ve ever fully appreciated until now.

The first time, I went into a meeting and came out redundant. I didn’t have to panic or rush into finding another job. I had the freedom to take my time and found something I genuinely loved.

Four months later, I landed a job I loved.
I was there for over a year before the company restructured and my role was no longer needed.

Then, just a week later, my world changed forever 💔

I took five months off without having to worry about finding another job or putting pressure on myself to get back into work.

After that, I found a maternity cover role, knowing from the beginning that it would eventually come to an end.

And now, that role finishes at the end of this month. I’ll be taking another three months off, without the same worry of “What am I going to do next?”

And THAT is the part that hits differently.

I started this business for travel savings and a bit of extra income. I never joined thinking it would become something I could lean on when life didn’t go to plan.

But three separate times, it’s given me options. Time. Breathing space. And the ability to make decisions without feeling like I have to jump straight into the next thing.

I’m not saying I’ve got everything figured out, because I absolutely haven’t 😂 But I am so grateful that something I started for one reason has grown into something that gives me so much more.

Sometimes, the biggest value of an opportunity isn’t what it gives you today. It’s what it makes possible when you need it most. 🤍✈️ taken in London, United Kingdom by @booking.mamas

To get comfortable, you’ve got to get uncomfortable. 👏🏼

Listen, I LOVE talking to the camera (mainly because there’s no judgement 😂) and I love talking to people face to face…

But standing up in front of a crowd of people you have never met? Yeah… not for me 😂

Last night I got called up to speak in front of a room of around 50 people. No preparation. No plan. I just had to get up there and say a little something.

Between trying to focus on what I was actually saying and trying not to 💩 myself because my IBS was having a field day… I DID IT. 😂👏🏼

And honestly, that’s exactly why I did it.

Because growth doesn’t happen when you stay comfortable. It happens when you put yourself in situations that scare you, do it anyway, and realise afterwards that you were capable all along.

We don't want a business that requires us to pretend we have our life together.

Because… we absolutely do not. 😂

There are nursery runs, jobs, house work, being wives, being a friend, being a daughter, grief and everything in between.

There are snacks being demanded every 4 minutes.

There are days where our-do list gets completely ignored.

There are days where we smash everything.
And there are definitely days where we are working from the sofa in yesterday’s clothes. 😂

But that’s exactly why we wanted something flexible.

We didn't want another thing that took us away from our busy life.
We wanted something we could build around it.

And that's what we love about this.

It fits into OUR real life.

Not some perfectly curated Instagram version of it. 🤍

Just a bunch of mamas from completely different backgrounds, with different commitments, different lives… and a very different number of kids each 😂🤍

But all with one thing in common… we want MORE from life.

More freedom. More opportunities. More memories. More for ourselves and, most importantly, more for our kids.

We want to show our children that anything is possible when you’re willing to believe in yourself, back yourself and go for it. ✨
