There have been SO many reasons why I could have given up this last year.

I could have curled up in a ball, shut the world out and let everything defeat me. And honestly, there have been days where I’ve wanted to do exactly that.

I know more than anyone that life can throw you the biggest curveballs. Things you never see coming. Things that change you, challenge you and make you question how you’re supposed to keep going.

But this is MY story.

This is MY journey.

And I get to decide how it unfolds. 🤍

So I keep going.

I keep showing up.

I keep chasing the things I want.

I keep building the life I dream of.

Because I’m doing it for my little girl. I want her to grow up seeing a mum who never stopped believing, even when life got really, really hard.

And I’m doing it with my Dad watching over me - every step of the way🤍

I know he’d be so proud. And somehow, that gives me another reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

This chapter might not be the one I would have chosen, but I’m going to make it one I’m proud of. ✨

"I could never leave my baby" OK that's cool, we can 😉🤣🤍

*spolier alert* leaving your baby / child for a night out doesn't make you a bad mama 😉👀

Mamas night out.

The best night to end this year's annual convention.

So excited to see where everyone will be in a year's time🤍👀🫶🏽

The most magical day with my little girl. ✨🏰🤍

I don’t think I could ever put yesterday into words. ✨

It was the most magical day. Watching Xenia’s face light up, seeing her excitement and experiencing that Disney magic through her eyes filled my heart with so much joy. 🥹🏰✨

But amongst all the happiness, there was a moment I found myself crying too. Happy tears? Sad tears? Mixture of both for sure 🤣😭🤍.

Because seeing her experience something that gave me some of my happiest childhood memories brought it all flooding back & more than anything, I just wanted to speak to my Papa. To tell him I was here, at Disney World, with his granddaughter to tell him about all the magic she was experiencing.

I know he was there in his own way 🪽🤍

Yesterday was everything I could have wished for and more.

Making these memories with my little girl is something I’ll treasure forever.

A little reintroduction… because life has changed A LOT, and if you’re new here, you probably deserve a little context. 🤍

Hi, I’m Sophie 👋🏼

I’m a twin, a girl mama to a very lively 3.5 year-old, and a dog mama to my 10.5 year-old Yorkie. 🐾

I’m also a full-time EA, whilst running an amazing online business that fits around my already very busy life.

And a fun little fact about my business… I’ve actually gone on to create a willable income for my daughter, meaning that should anything ever happen to me, she can continue to benefit from the income I’ve built. 🤍 One of the biggest reasons I do what I do & I love showing people how they can do the same 🫶🏽

But life isn’t just business, travel and Instagram posts.

Last year, my personal life took a massive 360.
I lost my beautiful Dad. 💔 Miss you so much Papa.

And I’ve started getting the question, “What happened?”
The truth is… nothing happened.
He simply didn’t wake up.
And honestly, I’m still trying to process that sentence, let alone everything that comes with it.

Then, just when we were trying to navigate life without him, my beautiful Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. 💔
Thankfully, it is curable, and we’re holding onto that with everything we have. 🤍

So yes… my life is a little bit all over the shop.

There’s motherhood, work, business, grief, family, laughter, chaos, travel, and everything in between.

And I guess that’s what this space is going to be.

The weird and wonderful journey that is my life. ✨

So if you’re new here, welcome.

And if you’ve been here for a while, thank you for sticking around through all the highs, lows, plot twists and everything in between. 🫶🏼

This is me. This is my life.

The reminder I really needed this morning…

It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the need to make every day of the summer holiday feel special. I’ve made myself feel guilty on days where Arlo has gone to summer camp, or if we’ve not really had any plans… when in reality, it really doesn’t matter.

“Mummy, you know my favorite thing from this whole summer was when we watched the G.O.A.T film” 😅😅

Hustle House: completed 🥹🤍

And I’m leaving with the fullest heart.

This weekend, myself and a group of incredible ladies came together to work with each other, learn from one another, share ideas, swap tips, bounce things around and, most importantly, support each other. ✨

When I first joined this business, my reasons were pretty simple. I wanted to save money and earn from my own travel.

I had absolutely no idea it would turn into something so much bigger than that.

It’s given me an incredible community of genuinely wonderful humans who celebrate each other, lift each other up, share what they know and want to see one another win. 🫶🏼

And I think that’s one of my favourite things about this.

We’ve all joined for completely different reasons.

We all have different goals, different lives, different strengths and different ideas of what success looks like.

But there is room for all of us to win. 🤍

There’s no competition. Someone else’s success doesn’t take anything away from yours.

So I’m leaving this weekend feeling inspired, motivated, grateful and SO excited to see where all of our businesses take us.

Here’s to the late nights, big ideas, questionable amounts of snacks 😂, supporting one another and watching this little travel community grow.

There is still so much content to share, tips and tricks and everything in between so keep your eyes peeled.

"Gate four: Musiara. This is the one that actually produced the documentary footage the original story opened with — BBC's Big Cat Diary filmed almost entirely in this marsh, and it's still considered the richest single wildlife corridor in the whole reserve: permanent water, resident lion prides, elephant herds, a standing hippo population. Governors' Camp sits right on the marsh here, one of Kenya's oldest and most storied safari properties, unfenced since 1972. The trade-off is distance — it's a longer overland drive from Nairobi than Sekenani or Talek, which is why most guests fly into Musiara Airstrip instead. Worth building into the itinerary early if you're planning for a group. Every Journey. One Path. Gate 4 of 6 — one more after this. 📩 DM us or tap the link in bio."
