When I was a kid I used to pretend to be a white leopard with wings. That's probably all you really need to know. Plus, I started @100funthings.

I made this. Tomi Djtomi designed the initial look - the woman's face and color background and some fonts - but I made it into a video. I just think that's kind of cool. I never actually learned video design or anything. I just fooled around on Canva for a few years. Whaddaya think? :) by @brahabender

Imagine this: me and you and all the girls partying like it's 1999 on the Wednesday evening of Chol HaMoed Sukkot from 6:30 to 11:00 on the most gorgeous, enormous rooftop garden (dude, it is legit more like a park) in Jerusalem. DJ Tomi Djtomi is lighting it up, sunset is going down, the drinks are flowing, and you remember what it feels like to be yourself. Fully alive. Head thrown back laughing. It's been a minute, but Braha's back. Let's go. ✨️ #100funthings #partygirls #letsdance by @brahabender

Gan Sacher on Yom Ha'Atzmaut 2026. Diggin' the phat 90's-tastic playlist pumping out of some family's ghetto blaster a few meters away on the grassy green lawn. The flags flying with big, bright blue Jewish stars and words of Tehillim scrolled alongside them. Digging the diversity of the us-ness: from Hawaiian muscle shirts unbuttoned to the navel on the kinds of dads and brothers that served multiple rounds of reserve duty in Gaza and Lebanon saving lives, to the mashiachist couple sitting patiently behind their table covered with pamphlets. The smell of mangal, Israeli barbecue, wafting through the air is mouth-watering. (Oh, listen they're playing my teenage jam, Ace of Base's The Sign. It makes me grin.) The dati-leumi couple quietly embracing under a tree nearby, tzitzit dangling, her long, white headscarf floating in the fresh, cool breeze. I wish you could feel the down-to-earth, welcoming, wholehearted yes-ness and us-ness that is vibing here. The loud, happy Americans throwing their frisbees and footballs around, the Haredi mamas and papas standing around the grill flapping hot grey and red coals under the steak and chicken cutlets and cumin potatoes. The kids all over the place, every age, everywhere, as sparkling and precious and vital as the sunshine blithely bathing this reviled land in the peace and joy that not even over two years of war and heartache can truly overcome. The whole world can hate us and it doesn't make a difference. The joy, the pure joy, of being a Jew in Israel, our holy, ancestral, ancient land, our birthright in every sense of the word - nothing quite compares. #AmYisraelChai #יוםהעצמאות taken in Sacher Park by @brahabender
