Our @fightingeel x @kapiolanimedicalcenter collection goes live at 9am HT today online and 10am in stores. I am so proud of this labor of love, which raises much needed $$ to support patients here in Hawai‘i.

This is a perfect example of *not* pinkwashing, with 100% of proceeds going to a good cause.

Thank you to the team at Fighting Eel for inviting local patients to bring this campaign to life. From inputting on designs to having patients model, it’s clear that this effort comes from the heart 💓.

It’s always nerve wracking being in front of the camera, but doing it alongside my breasties made it so much fun! taken in Honolulu, Hawaii by @bri.d.pt

“You are a match for your mountain.” — Brianna, Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor 💖

Diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer at age 30, Brianna leaned heavily on this mantra to ground her—not just during active treatment, but throughout the ongoing journey of survivorship. Moving on isn’t as simple as finishing care when you have decades ahead with a cancer history, and holding onto this reminder has helped her navigate the complex physical and emotional road beyond diagnosis.

Brianna places her full trust in her team at @hawaiipacifichealth, sharing: “Any question or concern I had during treatment was taken seriously... Even years out, it is a shared decision-making process, and I always feel like my team looks at the bigger picture of my health and lifestyle in my survivorship care.” Mahalo Bri for sharing your journey with us🫶🏼

Discover our #FExKMC Collection this Wednesday, online at 9am and in stores at 10am. 💗100% of the proceeds will benefit @kapiolanimedicalcenter and the Martha B. Smith Cancer & Infusion Center, supporting cancer care right here in Hawaii. by @bri.d.pt

More than a collection. A cause close to our hearts. 💗We’re honored to come together once again with @kapiolanimedicalcenter for a collaboration that means so much to us and our community.

This year, we’ve designed another beautiful collection of limited-edition tees, cozy sweaters, and introducing new accessories to the collaboration, our Brooke Cooler Lunch Bag and our ever so popular Mori Tote. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the @kapiolanimedicalcenter and the Martha B. Smith Cancer & Infusion Center, supporting cancer care right here at home.

At the heart of this campaign are incredible breast cancer survivors who graciously shared their stories and stepped in front of the camera to model this collection with us. Their strength, honesty and hope are what make this collaboration so special.

For the patients. For their care teams. For the families and friends beside them. 💗

A special post for one of the women I’ve admired most in my life. My godmother was always consistent in my life and in helping raise me in so many ways. She had the best sense of humor and never let anything get her down. She went through breast cancer treatment when I was in high school and with any adversity thereafter she’d say “Hell, I beat cancer, I can do anything!”

She reminded me of that in my own cancer journey and again and again in my life after. Her cancer returned in her lungs in 2021 and the doc told her she’d have six months to live …five years later she decided it was her time to go. I’ll miss her and our lunch dates and chats terribly - I don’t really know what life is like without her, but I know I’ll carry her with me always.

Here’s hoping you’re sipping a glass of red wine with a few ice cubes up there, Kuma! Memory eternal 💛 by @bri.d.pt

It’s been a minute since I added to my cancer story in print. I first wrote a piece for @wildfire_bc_magazine back in 2022. I was 1 year out of treatment, hopeful AF, and I’d also been knocked on my ass trying to understand why survivorship felt so much harder than the diagnosis, the treatment…

When I saw the Survivorship issue would print again this February (it’s out TODAY!), I promised myself I’d update my perspective. February 10 meant five years out from the completion of my treatment for TNBC. I’ve lived lifetimes since then. Yet, when I read my essay from 2022 again, the view really wasn’t all that different.

So, I hope you’ll take the opportunity to read the latest issue. My story is featured with some incredible survivors’ stories from women in this space who embody the quiet strength I talk about.

Thank you @i_heart_my_life for creating a beautiful space for us to share our experience. Link is in my bio to purchase a digital or print copy of our issue! DM me for a discount code!

f i v e 💫

Five years since the biopsy that changed everything…

Five years of waiting rooms, chemos, procedures, blood draws, scans, & MyChart messages…

Five years of travel, new experiences, sunshine, oceans, dates, girl hangs, & family time…

Five years of giving back to our cancer community through fundraising, connecting with our local AYA community, physical therapy and Pilates…

Five years of becoming a mother…

I’m moving into this 5th year of survivorship optimistic and with faith, but not without a healthy dose of humility. A cancer diagnosis changed a lot about the way I want to approach life - I may not be there yet, but I can take it one day at a time.

To my doctors, my husband, my family, friends, coworkers, & my breasties… I would not be where I am today without you. I may never have all the right words to express my gratitude, but I hope that “I love you” is enough.

My baby turns ONE today and my heart is bursting!

Although you came into the world just one year ago, I feel I’ve known you forever, my sweet, kind, hilarious, & independent buddy. This past year has transformed me in ways I didn’t even know were possible.

Year two will inevitably be so good and so fulfilling. You are my teacher as much as I am yours, and I don’t take that role lightly. Whatever comes our way, I just love you so! I’ve got everything when I’ve got you 🖤 by @bri.d.pt

Yesterday was SO much fun! 💓💓💓

Prevention & wellness have always been a cause I stand for, but especially as a breast cancer survivor myself. Seeing fellow survivors show up for themselves yesterday at our #TFT event had me feeling… 🥲😮‍💨! Not to mention being able to teach a method of movement that I love and that got me through cancer during a global pandemic was truly a full circle moment!!

Thanks to all who came to support, to @pilatesokala for hosting a partner event, and to @teasersfortatas for running such an amazing fundraiser! Link to donate to support wellness services for breast cancer survivors is in my bio if you’d like to contribute 🔗

This is your “green light” to move your body in survivorship! If you need a place to start, reach out!
