POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

FIFTY RACES AS YOUR @hyroxamerica HYPE QUEEN 🎤

And not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for every single one of them.

Five years is a long time to pour your heart into something. There have been plenty of sacrifices along the way, all made out of love for this community.

But every time I show up and see your excited faces, I know I’m home.

Thank you for being my people.

Thank you for being my why.

Cheers to 50 more! ⚔️

@hyroxamerica Las Vegas 🎲

Our largest North American event to date.

17,517 athletes crossed that finish line which means probably a few more crossed the start.

For 5 years I’ve continued to watch this sport grow into what it is today.

For 5 years I’ve watched old friends and new meet me in that start tunnel ready to push their bodies and minds to the limit.

I said something to the athletes this weekend I want to share with you:

“Although technically you are here to compete against each other (I think my actual language was “here to kick each others asses”), please remember that this moment is so much bigger than all of us.

Maybe someone here today needs to borrow your belief.

Maybe someone here today needs to be borrow your inspiration.

Go out there and don’t just race for yourself, but race for the people alongside you and for the people who will never get a chance to do something like this.

We are all one family striving to be better.”

I know most of you think I’m the one inspiring YOU but it’s really you who are inspiring me.

Very few people knew the grief I was carrying this weekend.

My brother would have been 35 this Friday and when I look around at all these faces, especially the men, I wish nothing more than to be able to share this with him.

@hyroxamerica has given me more than just a microphone and new friends, it’s given me a reason and a platform to share my brother’s legacy.

The words I say to you are the words I wish I could have said to him.

Never take your life for granted.

Never beat yourself up for a “bad” race.

You’re alive.

You’re doing something fucking incredible.

And there are people out there that care about you… a whole lot.

Some people are here to crush PRs and that’s wonderful.

But don’t you ever forget about the memories made, the limiting beliefs shattered and the hope reinstilled.

That’s what I am here for.

Always have been and always will be.

Thank you @hyroxamerica community.

You make me a better human.
