An amazing surprise today as I (and many other volunteers) got a Mayoral Service Recognition award for my volunteering at @bideawee - what a fabulous thing to receive out of the blue! Thanks @nycmayor @zohrankmamdani SO MUCH please come visit us at the Chelsea location some time! To celebrate here’s a selection of some of the iconic cats I have volunteered with, my birthday twin dog Obi and my two adopted sons from Bideawee - Quince (thriving) and Sunny (RIP)

“I haven’t done a tour of this length in quite some time, & some of the cities that we’re going to I’ve never played before, so it’s a gorgeous opportunity. The people I see on tour remind me that there are many brilliant people living in our world.” - electro pop artist @brightlightx2 speaks with The Queer Review’s @jameskleinmann ahead of the 17-date North American tour with Queen of the Universe winner @gragqueen beginning March 31st. I thought it would be fun to do a list of 31 amazing horror film scores for anyone else interested in the incredible music that acts as its own character in horror cinema. The six horror film and TV masterpieces I covered songs from for ‘Cinematography IV: The Final Chapter’. Any of these in your favourites?

A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
A JOY of a film with a killer soundtrack. Thank you @sineadoconnorofficial for your original song it is iconic especially in that scene!! @mondonews pressing of the vinyl box set Box Of Souls

The Monster Squad - what a blast! Iconic score and another awesome @mondonews pressing. I love the @michaelsembello song I covered songs much!!

The Return Of The Living Dead with an AMAZING @linneaquigley performance and the maximum fun SSQ song I covered.

I cannot express how much I adore Bram Stoker’s Dracula - the art direction, the score, bloody WOLVES!! And the immaculate @officialannielennox song that I covered.

The @davidlynchworld #angelobadalamenti #juleecruise timeless opus ‘Falling’ is probably in my most played songs of all time. I had to include it on this as a vault of horror’s most iconic songs!!

I’m so happy to see #jennifersbody on my timeline so much these days as it is PERFECT. Hugely mismarketed and hugely underrated - a masterpiece of acting, direction and music. May we always see each other through the trees. by @brightlightx2
