“I wanted to create a visually captivating magazine cover for ByHER that eloquently captures the timeless essence of Canadian Black women across generations.

By intertwining the portraits of my mother Saundra, my daughters Sydney and Savannah, as well as myself ‘Eternal Essence’ aims to celebrate the rich history, present accomplishments, and the promising future of Black Canadian women, creating a visually powerful and emotionally resonant introduction of our platform.”

Summer’s had me soaking in all the vibes, but this one deserves its own moment. My girl @iswellconnected did it again!

Music, incredible food, amazing goodies, and community. Caught up with familiar faces, made new ones, and caught jokes and a likkle two step 😂 Just a vibe from start to finish. Cant wait until the next one!

Our anniversary is coming up next week and I couldn’t help thinking back about how we had a whole Antigua itinerary planned and then decided to break almost all of it. 🤣 It was Jason’s birthday, our anniversary, and we needed a real reset more than we needed another excursion. So we didn’t. This is what doing (almost) nothing in Antigua looks like and having the best time! 🐚

There’s something about being around people who you just vibe with…

So earlier this week I did NOT plan on shopping but here we are 😅🖤

After an event, @citylightlinds and I popped into the @blackdesignersofcanada residency at Stackt Market with @torontodesignersmarket to browse… I left with a whole fit. Couldn’t help myself y’all.

These bubble pants from @ZobaMartin are a whole vibe. My short torso won’t let me be great in crop tops but this one by @DeniseDavidcollection was too good and paired with the bubble pants perfectly. 🙌🏾

When I saw the a bracelet and pin brooch from @Monoxidestyle, I had to try it on my hat (you know I can’t resist an embellishment) and it did not disappoint. The moment I put the hat on with the pin, all of us in the shop fell completely out. (As seen on slide 3) We were obsessed and that’s what I mean about vibing with your people. It wasn’t just a shopping moment, it was being in community.
