From the virtuosic and fiery third movement of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9 with the @helsinkiphilharmonic.

A rather spectacular trumpet moment from Marco Cubillas Bolado. 🔥

A small taste of Shostakovich 9 with the brilliant @helsinkiphilharmonic.

Sharp, irreverent, and full of bite.

I’m thrilled to finally share one of the major highlights of my 2026/27 season: my London debut with the legendary Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall on February 9!

As part of a special concert celebrating John Williams’s 95th birthday and 50 years of Star Wars, I’ll have the great pleasure of reuniting with @antoine_tamestit for the UK premiere of John’s Viola Concerto. Following our wonderful collaboration in Helsinki last season, it’s especially exciting to see this remarkable work continuing to blossom. Having worked closely with John over the years, bringing his music to the Royal Festival Hall for such a special occasion is a tremendous honor.

A special thanks to @toksdada and the Southbank Centre team for their enthusiasm and support in bringing this project to life!

I’m also looking forward to deepening my relationships with orchestras and audiences across the UK, with return engagements at Opera North and The Hallé, as well as my debut with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra later this season.

Across the Atlantic, I’m delighted to return to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic for a month-long residency featuring three different programs, including a Masterworks concert with the wonderful violinist @mariaioud in a program of John Adams, Prokofiev, and Dvořák.

Other highlights include my debut in Spain and a multi-week tour across Germany.

More to come soon! I hope to see many of you at a performance this season! taken in Berlin, Germany by @calebyoungconductor

The final pages of Shostakovich’s Ninth.

Relentless, razor-sharp playing from the @helsinkiphilharmonic.

The final moments of John Williams’s Viola Concerto -
Heartbreakingly beautiful, desolate, and deeply human.

Shostakovich 9th Symphony with the Amazing @helsinkiphilharmonic and the Great @calebyoungconductor 🇫🇮❤️‍🔥🤝🎶

I say annoying because Shostakovich really wanted that theme to stick out 😉

What a rewarding run of concerts throughout Northeast Indiana with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.

In our 250th anniversary year, it felt especially meaningful to share a program of American music with communities across the region. It was also such a joy to see my colleagues again this summer — especially the Phil’s wonderful concertmaster, Violetta.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such great energy, even through the summer heat! by @calebyoungconductor
