I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…does anyone else have the hardest time creating inspo boards for swaps? I like so many different things and I never want the person who gets me to feel pressured to do any one thing.

I’ve pulled together a few (okay several) slides of things that made me smile, so here’s a spot to start or if you have some other plan, great!!

Whimsy, animals doing human things, Swifty nonsense, BOWS, rainbows, dog stuff, it’s all good.

1: Halloween! Anything you like to make with a Halloween (or Christmas, or any other season) would be so fun. (I do have the golden ghost now tho!!!)

2: More seasonal stuff! Incl the amazing wreath Kat made me.

3: Taylor - I love when two things I like mash up together, so any Swifty things or Chiefs things or a combo would be so fun. Maybe a big bow with shirtless Jason Kelce? 😆

4: Wearables - an XL is pretty reliable for a top, but ask Rhi and I can pass along my measurements too. PJ pants, appliqué on a sweatshirt, overalls. I love it all.

5: Big old totes and bags! I love loading them up with all kinds of stuff. All the Things, Totes Amazeballs, Patchwork Duffle, etc.

6: Storage, like tubby family, one hour baskets, project bags, etc. SCRUNCHIE BUCKET!!! I would also LOVE one of Rosie’s Sew and Tell cases for sticker and label storage.

7: An all the things bucket of bows and bags and things.

Is that too many ideas? 😂😂😂

Happy 3rd birthday to my baby girl Revie Roo, Roodle Poodles, Princess Sillypants, Lil Miss Chomps a Lot, Golden Glitter Gifter, first of her name.

Rêve if we’re being formal.

Hopefully she remembers me after all of this travel, but thankfully @izzyintheozarks_ and @alisaleard are the best extended family a golden girl can have 🫶 I was certainly not in the market for another dog, but she needed me and I needed her. Love my little bug!

Two years ago we ordered the matching T-shirts, grilled by the pool and lit the sparklers. Some dogs hate the booms, but not my Bear - he spent his first Fourth of July in Riverside, our cute neighborhood inside of KC that was always full of fireworks. I’m the one that hated the booms the most 😅

I never posted the pics from that day, because Bear died the next morning. I’m still a little shocked by the suddenness. We’ll never know why he and Yuki died, and I miss him all the time.

I packed that shirt away and figured I would never wear it again. Such a bad memory that erased the good.

Maybe it was the T&T wedding extravaganza, but I decided I could wear it this year. Melinda too. It’s a few sizes too big now and I’m tucking it away for a TBD sewing project, but it feels good to honor his memory and laugh about the happy things.

Dogs aren’t with us long enough 🩷

I know there are much, much bigger worries in this world, so hopefully y’all will give some grace to your friend who has very mixed emotions about a weekend I’ve always loved too 🧨 🌭 🇺🇸

Thank you @mshogfan5 @alisaleard @izzyintheozarks_ @asilva479 for sharing the family farm with me and Roo this weekend, because she VERY MUCH cares about the boom booms. And more thanks for your friendship and great company. Love you all and our gaggle of silly dogs too.

I hope all of my American friends had a weekend full of family and friends, shiny sparkly things and the enjoying things you love most. Oh goodness, friends. Another year around the sun! Beyond thankful for my family, the best group of friends a girl could ask for, a wonderful career and the cutest golden retriever. And I even started the day at the gym 😅

Life is pretty sweet!
