Diversity at the heart of the Executive MBA experience

For Adarsh Ramdin (Cambridge Executive MBA 2026), one of the best parts of starting the programme has been the mix of people in the room. The cohort brings together individuals from different countries, cultures, industries and backgrounds, all working through the same complex challenges.

Adarsh says the real learning is not just from the curriculum, but from the conversations with classmates, and the wide range of perspectives, experiences and ideas they share.

It’s Day 7 of our University of Cambridge International Business Studies Trip (#IBST) in Mexico City, and today (the final day) is all about group presentations!

🎯 Kenya: Angela Wanjohi, Ijeoma Okpechi, PhD, Leonidas Pipinis, CFA, MRICS, Mark Dodd, and ORLANDO TORRES
🎯 Greece: Ernest Rankhododo, Nikolaos Peppas, Sanket Sarfare, Steven Chang, Danielle Tudehope, and George Burles
🎯 New Zealand: Ivan Payung, Jeffrey Wei Liu FRSA, Marc Horne, Margaret Akoth, and Marija Skobe-Pilley
🎯 France: Anne-Cécile Patrier, Dennis Cheng, Jinzhi Zhang(JZ), Matt Serota, and Yvonne Amponsah
🎯 Malaysia: Devon Grant, Hannah Lang, Muazzam Mohamad, Si Wei, and Swoyanshree Shree

🎯 Nigeria: Grace Boboye, James Onifade, Olga Makarewicz, Phil Clements, and Temitope Olagbami

and made an informed recommendation for the internationalisation strategy of a firm of their choice.

The aim of this assignment, as designed by Michael Kitson, Madeleine Rauch, and Lidia Mishchenko, is to provide them with the opportunity to directly apply the concepts learned during the last week to an empirical setting and encourage them to critically reflect on the different manners in which firms can cross borders.I really really enjoyed listening to the 11 insightful presentations, thank you for a super interesting day!

Thank you Maria Prus, Cicely Atherton, Jennifer Waller Martin, and the entire Executive MBA programmes at Cambridge and Austral Education Group teams for making it an awesome trip!
