WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS!! 🍋🍋 A concept near and dear to my heart, because who knew suffering with acne would land me with my very own supplement?

Every part of this product and launch was deeply considered. There is truly not a stone unturned. This is deeply special. Deeply me.

The first restaurant I ever went to (at 6 weeks old) was Prego on Ponsonby Road, where I would notoriously order a Pink Lemonade. When it came to creating this product, the flavour idea was born on one of my regular lunches with Mum, when the waiter remembered and offered me my childhood order.

From lemonade to “when life gives you lemons”, the play on words felt perfect. For anyone struggling with their skin, please know from the bottom of my heart that there is such beauty in this moment, and your innate beauty shines so brightly.

This shoot also captured the endless attempts I made to fix my acne, like scrubs, peels, masks, pills, potions, and beyond. It harnesses that “I’ve tried everything” feeling. Because I had.

My Nana always put her hair in rollers. I always watched her getting ready, and even in her last days, her hair was neatly done. The rollers are a nod to the woman who profoundly influenced my attitude to life.

1 week to go!!!!! 🩰🍦👙🦢 Created amongst many meetings, then brought to life by our incredible team. Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do. It’s the through-line that connects it all.

Nostalgia, vintage charm, memory-filled, antique-inspired, old Hollywood and childlike curiosity were the core inspirations behind this shoot. I grew up watching my Nana put her hair in rollers, always getting ready over her dresser! This product is a nod to my entire life, every chapter.

It’ll all make sense soon.

The way I had SO many messages and questions in person about which sofa I went with (I was genuinely on the edge of my seat too). This week, we were so fortunate to welcome Danske’s incredible ‘The Hilton’ into our home. It was love at first sight. From
the second I saw her, I was head over heels. She has been so loved from the second she touched down, with the entire house snuggling up! She has lightened up our space and encouraged us to open up the house & enjoy our indoor-outdoor flow. It’s unbelievable what utilising and changing up a space can do!

But this journey isn’t over. Styling (rugs/coffee tables) and beyond are all now on the cards, so what do you think would suit?

Do you think you’d prefer Grape or Cola? This week, I put the Ma Baker Soda Mallows to the ultimate test with a bunch of ladies who KNOW THEIR TREATS! It was a battle of these fizzy, delicious wee mallows that have been VERY well-loved in our household.

Like, when I got home, three packets were empty. 😂

My favourite piece Caitlin has ever made is the Melanie Gown. Originally born as her reception dress for her wedding and then adapted in a beautiful print for retail, the Melanie was quickly recut in our Oyster Silk and became a dress I always dreamed of wearing. When I first put it on for the team for a Fashion Week fitting I couldn’t take it off. This dress makes me feel like my most confident self inside & out!!!! Melanie forever!!!! @caitlincrisp @nzfashionwk by @cassandragrodd
