August Highlights 💜

What I thought might be a quiet month work wise turned out to be pretty mental😅! Sprinkled in lots of dog walks, coffee stops, roadtrips, workouts and laughs too thank god🥰

A great month, clinging on to summer till Ive had my holidays though🙈

Did we go and grab lunch at 11am??
Yes we did🙌🏻

And weren’t we happy when we saw they were sold out by 12😅

Ive heard the hype around @tonguetiedhotsauce already, they’ve a pretty great name around Cork, but somehow Id still never been!

So myself & my friend popped into their new deli on the Ballinlough Road today to finally try what many people are calling Corks best sandwich.

And let me say, it did not disappoint🙌🏻

Firstly… Im verrrry weird & fussy when it comes to meat in sandwiches, especially chicken… but I literally devoured every crumb of their Dirty Caesar!!

I think I saw that theyre making their own bread? Not sure if thats every day but it was so good! Soft, fresh and salty.

Theyve also got @banginout_ banana breads which Ill have to stock up on next time.

So yea, a great new addition to Ballinlough and another great Cork lunch spot🥪

Yes I am a coffee snob and yes I spend way too much money on going for coffee🤷🏻‍♀️

But life’s short, and there’s far too many good coffee shops in Cork now to accept a bad coffee!

Welcome to Cork @lunacoffeewine 🫶🏻

What a gorgeous new addition to Cork City!

I popped in this morning to check out Cork’s newest coffee shop and was not disappointed!

The decor is so stunning, and really different to everything else around at the moment! I am obsessed with the copper benches🙌🏻

There’s plenty of seating, inside & outside, and the pastries are ridiculously good😋

They also have some gorgeous looking lunch options which Ill definitely be back to try, but this morning I just opted for a cappuccino & a banana bread and I could not fault it!

The coffee is @westcorkcoffee which Im always a fan of☕️

Have you been in yet?
I definitely recommend adding it to your list next time you’re in Cork city📝

Ill 100% be back anyway, plus Im pretty sure they’re dog friendly so even better in my opinion🥰

There are few things that fill my cup as much as a walk in nature, with my dog by my side🌿🐶

Today is Love This Place Day and it’s a lovely reminder that getting outside comes with a shared responsibility to protect the places we love. Ireland’s landscapes belong to all of us, and the smallest actions can make the biggest difference.

My #LoveThisPlacePromise is to:

Stay on marked trails.
Always bring my rubbish home.
Keep my dog away from wildlife and respect the spaces we share.
Leave nature exactly as I found it.
Never stop making time to get outside and appreciate the incredible places we have here in Ireland.

This little corner of West Cork holds a special place in my heart and if you’ve never visited Glengarriff, I’d highly recommend you add it to your list.

The woodland walks are beautiful at any time of year and it’s one of my favourite places to slow down and switch off.

@dunbakery was another spot on my list for ages and I finally got to visit over the weekend.

Let me just say, it did not disappoint🤤🤤🤤

The choice was unbelievable, the staff friendly and the pastries… oh my goodness🙌🏻

I saw @cassiestokes call Dún the best bakery in Ireland, and she could be onto something there!!

Its pretty amazing and I cannot wait to go back🥐
