🇬🇷 INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE ANNOUNCEMENT 🇬🇷
Snapshot is going to Greece! 🎬 @filmfestivalgr

We are delighted to announce that @snapshot_1888 will have its international premiere in the Film Forward Competition at the 67th Thessaloniki International Film Festival.

Thank you to the wonderful jury for including us in the Film Forward competition section, which hosts 10 “boundary-breaking” films which are competing for the Golden Alexander - Best Feature Film Award, accompanied by a 10,000 euro cash prize.

🏆 Snapshot is also competing for the Silver Alexander – Best Direction Award, accompanied by a 5,000 euro cash prize, and the best actor and actress awards. The jury may also award a best screenplay award or a best artistic achievement award.

The Thessaloniki Film Festival, held annually in November since 1960, stands out as one of the most historic film festivals worldwide, as well as the most popular and talked-of cinema event of the year in Greece.

@snapshot_1888 took home the award for Best Feature Film at Gloucester Film Festival yesterday!

What a location to screen it at as well, in the wonderfully Victorian @glosguildhall 📽️

Thank you to Joshy, Oscar and the whole team at Gloucester for recognising all the work that went into this film, and extra special to have the award presented by fellow found-footage filmmaker, @charliejrobb !

And so wonderful catching up with the wonderful @beccahirani and @trevenenharry ❤️

Plus, a great time exploring this historic city and finding green men and gargoyles to kick off the spooky season 👻

 It’s about bloody time we see more women creating the monsters, building the worlds, breaking the rules and deciding what weird and wonderful direction genre evolves into next. 🩸🕰️

A little look back at our first About Bloody Time: Women Are Seen Project Showcase at FrightFest 2026.

Six female-led genre projects.
 Six wildly different worlds.

From folk horror and body horror to supernatural stories, sci-fi and unhinged AF satire, this was exactly what we wanted the showcase to be:

A space to discover new work. Meet the women behind it.
Amplify their voices.  Build genuine connections.
 And make some bloody noise about projects we want to see move forward. 🎉🎉🎉

🎉 SNAPSHOT WON! - double whammy this weekend!🏆 at the BIFA-qualifying SPIRIT OF INDEPENCE FILM FESTIVAL.

Thank you so much to the festival for your recognition of our genre-mashing debut film.

The jury awarded Snapshot the ‘VISUAL SPIRIT AWARD’, which is described by the festival as:

“This award celebrates the craftsmanship that goes into everything we see on screen - cinematography, production design, colour grading, costume, it’s about the artistry that goes on behind the scenes to create the visual world we see on screen.”

SOIFF is our third competitive festival on our run, so we’re delighted to have won the award!

The festival has supported my short films over the years, so screening my first feature there and it winning an award, makes it even more meaningful!

We’d highly recommend anyone attend this festival and submit your films for next year.

🎉 SNAPSHOT WON! 🏆 the ‘BEST BRITISH FEATURE FILM’ at the BIFA-qualifying WORCESTER FILM FESTIVAL last night.

Thank you to all the 23 jury members, which included Daisy Ridley @daisyridley and Jess Henwick @jhenwick , for your recognition of our wild debut film.

Worcester is our second competitive festival on our run, so we’re delighted to have won the award!

Worcester is a special festival for me because it has supported my short films over the years, so it’s amazing to bring a feature and it win an award too!

I’d highly recommend anyone attend the event and submit your films for next year.
