POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

FROM THE CCFO ARCHIVES | 2014

In 2014, I had the privilege of being interviewed En Órbita, a cultural program and transmedia project of señal Colombia

CCFO was still in its early years, but the vision was already clear: to keep our Colombian cultural heritage alive beyond our borders, create community through dance and folklore, and give new generations and Australian audiences an opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of Colombia.

What began in Sydney in 2010 was already travelling back to Colombia

12 years later, we are still here — preserving, evolving and sharing Colombian culture in Australia by @ccfoau

We migrated from different parts of Latin America, each with different dreams and at CCFO we found a place to connect, learn and grow.
Dance brings us closer to our roots and makes the journey of starting over a little easier

SYDNEY
Eora, what a night! ❤️‍🔥
A few moments from our Sydney stop with Ghetto Kumbé, bringing the powerful sounds of Afro-Colombian electronic music to Australia.

Thanks to the artists, production team, Metro and to everyone who came through, danced with us, and made this night one to remember.

On 10 October, we celebrated Colombian Migrant Day, honouring our culture, our roots, and the power of community alongside amazing organisations keeping our identity alive in Australia. 🇨🇴✨

🗞️ @elespanol_au , a Latin newspaper in Australia with over 60 years of sharing our community’s stories.

🛍️ @altrimenti_markets , a platform supporting and showcasing Latin entrepreneurs and their businesses.

💃 @ccfoau (Colombian Cultural and Folkloric Organisation) Preserving and sharing the richness of Colombian culture through dance.

Because our roots travel with us. Wherever we go, we continue to share our culture, build connections, and leave our mark 🌎✨
