I’ve been rounding up to 65 for a while, mentally preparing myself for today… but I have to admit, this birthday kind of freaks me out. I know it’s just a number… but damn.

Time flies when you’re having fun — and even when you’re not.

This is me at 18 in my one and only beauty pageant. 😂 Probably one of the most “not me” things I ever agreed to do — and I knew it the minute I said yes. But I always finish what I start. I literally tap danced my way through it.

I barely remember that girl, but we share a lot. I still find myself dancing my way through a lot of things I get myself into — thankfully, fully clothed. 😉 Obviously, that’s just who I am…

Youth really is wasted on the young, but I’m grateful for every year that brought me here and for everyone who has joined me on this journey.

No big trip. No grand plans. Honestly, Radnor and a good dinner with the fam is my perfect day— and I feel blessed that this is my norm.

Ross Edwin Richardson
December 29, 1933 - May 29, 2026

I’m so proud of Eddy for the way he cared for his father over the past four years, and my parents (who claimed him as their own) before that. Ross had dementia, but even as memories faded, their bond deepened in the quiet, everyday moments. ❤️❤️

For close to seven years, much of life has revolved around caring for our parents — putting them first and walking beside all three through very different journeys — illness, Covid lockdown, grief, assisted living, rehab facilities, memory care and hospice. It’s been a long difficult road, but also a blessing. In the end, love is often just showing up — over and over again.

We are grateful for the opportunity to love our parents in this way, also grateful this season is coming to a close. It’s been challenging. If you find yourself walking this path, we’re happy to share what we’ve learned - it’s a lot. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @ccrtn

Two years with Ari… ❤️

That sweet face had us at hello, but it’s his big personality that keeps us laughing.

This boy has two speeds: fast and stop. Morning cuddles start every day. He moves through life in high gear, plops down for a nap the moment he needs it and heads for the bed at 7 sharp. He’s never met a stranger and insists on visiting his friends multiple times a day. Before going outside, he races around the house to find the “must-have” thing of the day to carry on his outing. He lives for morning rides with Daddy, garage sitting and he has become completely obsessed with squirrels —so confused how they can run up a tree when he can’t.

Somewhere along the way, he found his voice and asks for what he thinks he needs. He has all three of us right where he wants us.

This wild man was made for joint custody. All of our lives revolve around him, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Happy birthday BoyBoy! ❤️❤️❤️

Fashion, food, hospitality, music, art, and culture all work together to tell the story of who we are as a city.

A very special thank you to our incredible special guest @petersom and event partners @arnoldmyintbna @annamyint and the entire @imnashville team for sharing your talents, your stories, and your generosity with all of us for Feast On Fashion.

Peter’s work has long beautifully bridged fashion, food, storytelling, and heritage in such an authentic and inspiring way. And The Myint family, through International Market are such an important part of Nashville’s cultural and culinary fabric. Spaces like this remind us that food is not just nourishment… it’s connection, identity, memory, and community.

We celebrated AAPI Heritage Month with our community partners @apimidtn @givingkitchen. Events like this are an opportunity not only to celebrate the contributions of Nashville’s Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, but to continue creating visibility, investment, and space for diverse voices and stories to thrive.

Closed the laptop and ran for the dock yesterday. ⚓️

I was invited to the christening and launch of The Capitol, the newest addition to @nashvilleriverboats , and it was such a beautiful reminder to step away and enjoy Nashville from a different perspective.

The official launch included a traditional christening ceremony, remarks from community leaders, and the ceremonial Tennessee whiskey bottle break by Captain Joy Menthey before we boarded for a brunch cruise along the Cumberland River.

Historic paddlewheel charm, skyline views, live music, good food, and that unmistakable feeling of slowing down for a couple of hours porch swinging on a boat.

Congratulations to the fifth-generation family behind this new river adventure. Nashville’s newest riverboat officially set sail, and it’s a special one.

I’m already plotting a sunset cruise. Who’s in?✨

Three days behind the scenes with @indygosoul. ✨✨✨

From all of the stunning runway images the past few weeks, these videos were the ones that stopped me in my tracks. They are the perfect picture to me of why I still love doing this after all these years. It’s always been about the girls.

Indya and I realized that this was our 10th @nashvillesymphony Fashion Show together, but she first captured my heart the minute we met in 2014. Just a few weeks later she was walking in her first Symphony show and the rest is history. So many shared memories and so much life since then. No matter where her adventurous spirit has led, she always comes when I call.

Every young woman has her own story, and I’m honored to have a front row seat to so many of them. Some girls I’ve met at 13, but Indya was in college —and here she is still following her dreams, pushing herself, still growing, and stronger than ever in all areas of life.

Watching my girls do their thing brings me so much joy—the grace, the nerves, the excitement behind those big smiles. But more than that, it’s the relationships, the history, and the family we’ve built over many years that will stay with us forever. If you know, you know.

Getting to watch me watch Indya was an unexpected gift I didn’t know I needed. And I know I had that same watchful eye on every one of them.

I’m one proud mama, and oh so grateful for it. ❤️❤️❤️

Today is #internationalwomensday and we celebrate all of you who contribute to and inspire the Nashville fashion community. We’ve been plotting, planning, and have a few things up our sleeve… Stay tuned.

For now, we’re going to leave this right here:

✔️Women dominate the fashion industry workforce, making up roughly 80% of garment workers and 82.7% of designers, yet they face a significant leadership and pay gap.

✔️Over 85% of graduates from top fashion schools are female.

✔️Only 14% of top 50 major fashion brands are run by women, who earn roughly $0.85 for every dollar a man earns.

✔️Women drive 80% of purchasing decisions.

There’s still much work left to do.
