【百花蝦球】 Flower Shrimp Balls

Chinese dishes can be delicate and elegant 🌸
Shrimp paste topped with sliced almonds
it takes a little extra time and effort ,
but once airfry, it blooms like a flower

用蝦膠鋪上杏仁片，
雖然花多少少心機同時間，
焗完好似花一樣咁靚。
用焗爐嘅氣炸功能，唔需要油都炸到脆卜卜💢💢

🎬影片教學
🇯🇵《生薑香蔥豚肉丼 +車厘茄豆腐沙律🥗》

#丼飯除咗係富有日本特色嘅 #家常料理，而且做法簡單又好送飯。簡單將 #萬字生姜燒肉汁混合醬油及味醂，令醬汁味道更加豐富香甜。經煎香後嘅🐽豚肉片吸盡醬汁精華，絕對令人忍唔住一口接一口！配合車厘茄豆腐沙律降低肥膩感又增加纖維，迎接元氣滿滿嘅一日🤩🤩！

材料（2人份）
豚肉片 220克
黑椒 1茶匙
蔥 3棵
雞蛋 2隻
已煮熟白飯／糙米飯 2碗
芝麻 1茶匙

調味料
萬字醬油 1茶匙
萬字生姜燒肉汁 3湯匙
萬字味醂 1湯匙
水 2湯匙
糖 1茶匙

▶️做法：
1. 豚肉片用黑胡椒醃10分鐘。
2. 蔥切粒備用。
3. 將蛋白和蛋黃分開，蛋黃留用。
4. 萬字醬油、萬字味醂、萬字生姜燒肉汁、糖、水拌勻成調味料，備用。
5. 中大火燒熱鑊後放入豚肉片，將兩面煎至焦香。
6. 倒入調味料，煮至豚肉片全熟和略收汁。
7. 將豚肉片鋪上飯面。
8. 灑上蔥粒、芝麻，最後放上蛋黃，即可享用。
美味小貼士：選購可生食的雞蛋

《車厘茄豆腐沙律》
材料
車厘茄 4粒
絹豆腐 1盒
沙律菜 40克
萬字焙煎芝麻醬 1 - 2湯匙

做法：
1. 車厘茄切半；豆腐切粒後加入沙律菜中。
2. 淋上萬字焙煎芝麻醬，享用時拌勻即可。

🍝返嚟嘅第一餐... The first meal I cooked when I back to home was……

成個月冇食西餐，返嚟第一餐就係整意粉 🍝
證明我骨子裏有一個「西人胃」！
不過中式湯水真係無可代替，
煲咗清熱潤肺嘅「霸皇花無花果排骨湯」，
重點係煲完湯嘅排骨依然好腍好好食！
帶咗幾個月餅返嚟
識食一定要中秋後慢慢嘆月餅🥮！
今次返香港發現咗幾款來自港式麵包店嘅月餅，可以單個買，而且價錢很可以，完全滿足晒我呢啲咩味都想試嘅人
✨ 快樂餅店：陳皮紅豆月餅 & 焦糖果仁月餅
✨ 嘉多娜：黑芝麻流心月餅 & 黑糖珍珠奶茶月餅（茶味香濃）
呢幾款真係超級好食，後悔買太少！

Haven’t had Western food for a month due to travel back home, so my very first meal back was pasta, I really do have a Western appetite inside !
However, soul-nourishing Cantonese soup is irreplaceable. Made a pot of Night-Blooming Cereus & Fig Pork Rib Soup,and the slow-cooked ribs were melt-in-the-mouth tender 🥣❤️.
Savoring mooncakes after Mid-Autumn Festival at my own relaxed pace 🥮!
Discovered some amazing local gems that can buy individually (perfect for curious tastebuds like me):
✨ Happy Bakery (快樂餅店) in Wanchi: Tangerine Peel Red Bean & Caramel Nut Mooncakes
✨ Kadorar Bakery in Yau Ma Tea: Lava Black Sesame & Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea Mooncakes
These were so rich and delicious! Definitely bookmarking them to buy more on my next trip back.

Hong Kong culture that I missed ….
當你旅居外地，每次返香港🇭🇰 ，都會尋找….

以前視為平常、如今珍惜嘅生活點滴
行街市、搭叮叮，食點心……以前覺得理所當然嘅日常，現在都變成了美好嘅記憶

今次返嚟，順著記憶與地圖去尋寶：
✨ 嚐一杯 @clan.andco 五味堂嘅涼茶 Cocktail 🍸
☕ 懷念新華與金園新鮮出焗嘅蛋撻、香滑嘅奶茶與鴛鴦
🎬 走進《阿飛正傳》Pop-up 重溫舊光影
🏺 穿梭於灣仔景德行、油麻地上海街同上環嚤囉廟街，連阿媽依家都唔用嘅米通碗、萬壽無疆杯，都有衝動想買一套帶回家

當你看見這座城市的轉變，只會更加掛住以前那個熟悉和美麗的香港。

Strolling through wet markets, taking the Ding Ding tram, listening to the gentle clatter along the tracks... what once felt so ordinary has now become the dearest part of home 🥹.
This time back, I traced old memories around town:
✨ Sipping traditional herbal tea cocktails at Ng Mei Tong (五味堂) 🍸
☕ Relishing flaky egg tarts, silk milk tea, and Yuenyeung at Sun Wah and Kam Yuen
🎬 Stepping into Days of Being Wild (阿飛正傳) pop-up exhibition
🏺 Wandering through King Tak Hong in Wan Chai, Shanghai Street in Yau Ma Tei, and Upper Lascar Row in Sheung Wan even tempted to buy a set of classic rice-pattern bowls and porcelain cups that even Mom doesn’t want to use anymore

Watching the city change makes you miss the beautiful Hong Kong it used to be in my heart.

【 ⏱️ 1 小時 5 道菜｜讀數學女生隨心快煮歡聚之夜】

17:15 買餸 ➔ 18:10 返到屋企 ➔ 19:10 一小時內準時開飯！

讀數學嘅人雖然最後冇做同數學相關嘅工作，但用喺「極速上菜」嘅時間管理同轉數上，依然發揮作用。

今次返香港煮嘅唯一一餐，給讀大學時Roommate 同 Maths Soc 嘅師妹們 ❤️

冇預先 Plan Menu，純粹用屋主廚房現有嘅調味料，同埋去到街市想食咩就買咩：
✅蒸東星
✅椰青水卜卜蜆大蝦鍋
✅蒜頭雞湯紅莧菜
✅金菇牛肉卷
✅加埋斬料叉燒

最後再加埋民豐糯米糍同月餅作結 🥮✨
食飽飽仲初試玩劍球 🎯，估唔到咁好玩，多謝 @bigho 仲送埋比我可以帶返去慢慢練 🎁！

其實都幾懷念讀大學嘅時候……雖然好多細節都已經唔記得，但如果有記憶球，真的好想搵返啲嘅記憶 ❤️

【 ⏱️ 5 Dishes in 1 Hour! Maths Soc Reunion & Spontaneous Cooking Night 🍲 】
17:15 Grocery run ➔ 18:10 Back home ➔ 19:10 Dinner served in an hour!
Proving that while us Math majors didn‘t end up pursuing Math careers, our sharp time-management still work.

The only home-cooked meal I made during this Hong Kong trip, dedicated to my uni roommate and junior batchmates from Maths Soc ❤️.
No meal planning，just going with the flow based on what was in the kitchen and what we craved: Steamed Leopard Coral Grouper, Coconut Water Clam & Tiger Prawn Pot, Red Amaranth in Garlic Chicken Broth, Enoki Beef Rolls, plus Cantonese Roast Pork Rice 🍚!

After dinner, I tried playing Kendama for the first time 🎯so much fun, and even gifted me one to bring back and practice 🎁!
Looking back, I truly miss those university days... Though many details have faded, if ”memory orbs“ were real, I’d love to fetch all those golden memories back ❤️.

從日本帶回來的這款抹茶粉，成了午飯後的儀式感 🍵✨

小山園五十鈴這款茶粉入口先是細緻嘅海苔香，隨之而來係溫柔嘅微苦與回甘。做成抹茶牛奶，茶香完全唔會過於霸道，亦唔會被燕麥奶淹沒，保持住一種剛剛好嘅茶香奶香，韻味悠長 🥛🌿
讓生活慢落嚟，調一杯屬於自己嘅綠色，連空氣都好似平靜咗。
收拾心情重回工作模式💪🏻💪🏻

【膽固醇超標之旅！食晒今年嘅 Quota 】
6 月一個人嚟食過一次之後就念念不忘，所以今次返嚟一定要帶埋老公一齊痛快地食！
呢間嘅新鮮豬什真係好得！
黃喉、豬腰、豬肺、粉腸、豬潤全都處理得極乾淨完全冇異味，火喉控制得好好，口感極嫩。
蝴蝶腩都係必食，煮到又腍又入味，配埋濃郁嘅白胡椒湯底，飲完好暖胃！
加埋薑蔥炒豬什，火候十足，配啤酒一流 🥹❤️
雖然真係好邪惡，但呢種港式味道，值得為佢而「超標」！

Back in June, I had an incredible meal here that I immediately think of I MUST bring my hubby here when we come back.
The fresh pig offal here is honestly one of the best in Hong Kong! The pig kidney, lungs, small intestines, and liver are cleaned properly with no odor. But the real star of the show? The butterfly brisket and daikon , braised until incredibly tender and packed with flavor, all floating in a rich, soul-warming white pepper broth. We also ordered the stir-fried offal with ginger and scallions, which had that amazing wok hei! 🥹❤️
Guilty pleasure for sure, but authentic local comfort food like this is worth every single calorie!

🌕今年中秋過得很快樂！
但最掛住嘅，依然係童年嘅紙燈籠…
今年香港嘅中秋氣氛真係好濃！
除咗維園，灣仔藍屋、利東街都有好多好靚嘅花燈 🏮
但最掛住嘅，依然係細個嗰陣，食完飯，拎住用蠟燭點嘅紙燈籠，一路行、一路大風少少就驚燒著個燈籠

Spent such a happy Mid-Autumn Festival in Hong Kong this year! The festive vibe from the international lanterns street at Victoria Park to the Blue House in Wan Chai and Lee Tung Avenue 🏮
Yet amid all the stunning modern lanterns, what I miss the most is still holding traditional paper lanterns lit by candles, worrying the lantern would burnt if there is wind!
Festivals grow more sophisticated as we grow up, but nothing beats the pure joy of those simple childhood memories ❤️

From days of meticulous preparation to a 6-hour non-stop workshop on the day,though intense, seeing the genuine smiles and beautiful creations from every guest made every single second worth it 🥹❤️.
